Is there a way we can configure our own "atmosphere color" options? I mean personally I never understood why Vice City had to have these yellowy atmosphere, to me it makes more sense if it had like a blue-ish or pink-ish one idk, like in San Fierro in San Andreas and other places in that game. Anyway, I was wondering if there is a way to change this yellow atmosphere to another color :) thnx

What you are mentioning is loosely present in the Vice Cry mod.

In the Winter Edition version, the Trails was tweaked to have a blueish hue. But that's blurry trails and that doesn't fit here anyway

i am using Modloader + SkyGFX installed, Sharptrails doesn't work with ModLoader for some reason?

For GTA 3 this worked just fine but something is wrong with VC (or at least the effect doesn't look how I want it to).

 

When "trailsSwitch" is set to 0 in SkyGFX then sharptrails simply doesn't seem to work (all blur, no party), and only with 1 ("leeds") can I get it to work. The Leeds setting looks very different from the default though, there is barely any "yellow" tint in it.

 

Is this how the mod is supposed to work for VC? So far I managed to find a Youtube video where sharptrails seem to work just fine with the default setting (or can leeds be configured in a way that it looks like the original?):

Hi, I can't get Sharptrails 2.0a to work in GTA 3/Vice City 1.0. I copied the rwd3d9.dll file to the game folder and sharptrails.dll (renamed to sharptrails.asi) to the \scripts folder. I only use widescreen fix with d3d8to9 on and SilentPatch. I enable "trails" from the game menu but the blur effect remains. Can someone help me?

I'm getting pretty noticeable flickering with this still. Only seems to happen with the Sharptrails and not the regular trails (sharptrails.asi renamed to trails.asi) as well. Anyone have a fix? All I have installed is the VC Widescreen Fix, PS2 Vehicles, SilentPatch, SkyGfx, GInput, and of course Sharptrails.

 

Edit: Did a test to be sure, and it also happens with just Sharptrails and SkyGfx (with no changes to skygfx.ini) installed.

Edit 2: Apparently it's supposed to look like this, but I still don't see it on the regular trails. Odd.

I did everything what ReadMe file says, but it does not work and even makes thing worse. Take a look:
