Why is rockstar hellbent on becoming villians lately Because the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions have both reached their technical limitations, The hardware is getting old and R* wants to move on. If you see videos about the framerate in both versions you can see that they're struggling and barely staying on 20-30 fps.Idk what struggling on fps you're talking about but my game plays fine. And i still dont understand the technical limitation thing. Be glad R* give a f*ck about OG so long, some companies already killed support for it like Ubisoft. All of us on LG are going to upgrade when we do we will probably buy a used copy of gta anyways. You are not supporting rockstar by doing this they get nothing from it. $30 tops! And further more let's let this thread go away lol. We're on LG we got left behind, the PS3 is really old now. I can't even stream online much anymore because everything has upgraded. As so should gta. Don't take this to heart people, just keep playin gta on PS3 and wait until u get a next gen, by then it will be worth upgrading anyways. And as far as I know, I have asked rockstar if there is a transfer deadline as I'm upgrading at tax time and what I got back was a big negative there is no deadline . Happy gaming! The next update might take a bit longer to produce, but it should be one that takes full adavantage of the XB1/PS4/PCs hardware. We could see some really cool stuff from Rockstar now, because the XB1 and PS4 both have around 8GB of RAM (5 that can used by games) and an 8-core CPU, compared to 512MB of RAM and a 3-core CPU in the Xbox 360 and 256MB in the PS3. That is nearly 10 times more usable memory than the Xbox 360 and nearly 20 times the PS3's memory. I'm going to laugh my ass off if the next update is just another dumbass hastily slapped together cookie cutter content pack. It will throw your theory down the drain and make Rockstar look like idiots. If it is a good pack then don't go laughing in my face, I want it to be good so that I'll have some actual motivation to pick up my copy of V for Xbox One. I've got the money just sitting there. Depends on factors, a console can easily "survive" a whole generation if not more meaning you pay 400$ for 7+ years of console usage, a PC however needs to be cleaned, cooled, and expanded every now and when to hold on with modern PC games. You people fail to realize that some people live out in the middle of buttf*ck nowhere where it's hard to find a job and the nearest place to even find a job is 20 miles, on top of that, gas is high as f*ck too. I can't work myself, because I'm in that position and also I have problems with working with people in public, I would likely have a panic attack from being nervous. I bought my 360 when I still had a disability check.
