High CPU Usage

Hey guys,

 

Ever since I bought GTA V my CPU usage has been pretty high (80-100%) and I don't really understand why. Is this normal seen as its CPU intensive game? The game is by all means playable but I get the feeling its pushing my rig to the edge whenever I do play it. I still maintain framerates between 60-100. I know about the various patches that have been around but to be honest they really haven't made any difference. I'm probably being picky but I guess I don't feel comfortable with my CPU running between 80-100% for hours on end. I play the game on fairly high settings but lowering the settings doesn't really affect the CPU usage.
