I also don't get why some people want cars and vehicles more, this is one of the Updates Online needed now R* just needs to expand on this concept and GTA Online will be a blast.

From what I've read, this "DLC" is a f*cking joke.

 

I don't see the hype in the R* Video Editor, it's something I and many players would never use or maybe use it once and get bored 29 seconds later. The free roam events are cool, I guess. FR needed more activities and this is what they come up with. They're basically PvP activities with a twist to them, I don't see why they couldn't be in the game back in October 2013 or LG consoles.

Dude are you on LG or why are you so pissed?

The Free Roam events couldnt be in last gen because they are basicly jobs in FREE ROAM, this is IMO a good and fun basis for future Free Roam content to be added.

Ahh not the majority I bet, its mostly a vocal minority, also I don't see any argument for the Events beeing "rushed" they absolutely aren't they are polished, griefing safe, and a lot of work went into the main modes, however I believe it would have been better if we would get every 6 minutes a challenge and every 12 minutes a real Free Mode event would be more fun.

They aren't added to last gen at all.

Either way, thanks for the answer. Time Trials seem to be allowed solo (they don't appear in invite only though), what would be the minimum number for the rest of them? And can some of them be done in passive mode (time trials especially)?

So is this update worth the down-load or does it suck balls?

For me its definately worth the download, its free, try it out.

And especialy try out the new Adversary mode, crossed lines.(Only if you like and enjoy duck and cover shooting)

It's obvious why this new stuff simply would not work on previous generation consoles.

 

In a full session, when these events are going on, even the PS4 lags a bit. They would crash the PS3 on a regular basis.

I for one am excited to get home from work in a few hours and try these new game modes out. I have the next two days of too, so I know what I'll be doing. (Kids permitting anyways) free mode has always been my favorite anyways.

I got an update, but it was only 700mb. Not sure if that was it. I went into freemode and didn't see anything, so I'm guessing it wasn't. I'll try later :)

Me and crewmates did it 1:32-1:42min.. It ain't impossible! Use bati if u can't handle a supercar..

So Kind of the Hill is a massive deathmatch..nothing unexpected.

 

Joined one, was spawn-killed a lot of times, like..genuinely, didn't even had enough time to grab a weapon-bam-WASTED.

 

The Del Perro time trial...wow...well.How do you complete it?perfectly driven my Osiris, no crash, nothing, didn't make it

perfectly driven my hakuchou..same story.

This update is really good. Ive enjoyed the new freeroam activities but nothing compares to Rockstar Editor. Its a little hard to get used to but I hope to make a video soon. Even People who wont sit still long enough for videos, you should at least try it out for the Photographs alone. You can make some awesome wallpapers.

Just to add my two scents, but this update doesn't do it for me. Interesting ideas as they may be and certainly welcome as an entity, there are still big holes left in free roam, especially no acknowledgement of solo and invite only freeroams. I'd have been happier if some of the new (and old) events were available in part for solo players just farting about in invite only or solo (maybe a TT or kill list every 15-20 minutes with an armoured van or HPV in between. In saying that I'm curious. What are the payouts you have achieved in the various events? :)

This does not breath new life into a game that has gotten stale for me.

 

Free-mode events are just another name for killing other players which has gotten boring. Editor never really bothered me so....yeah.

 

Free-mode events might be ok with friends.
