Whichever one you choose you will get people telling you the other is better and there's a 50% of disappointment - especially with new features on the horizon. The best thing to do is go to a shop and have an hour playing on them (if your spending a few hundred on a console they should have demonstration ones knocking about).

To be fair, other than a few trolls that bitch at everything, its not the same people bitching at both. I get that. Just pointing out that no update ever satisfies the community as a whole. Even the heists update had people bitching about it. Rockstar really can't win. The concept of a game trying to be many different things for different players seems to elude this community, even though that has always been what GTA has been; if people really understood that, we'd hear a lot less complaining about each update, because the complainers would know that the next update, or the one after that, will be the one meant for them.

 

And the people who truly never like any of the updates should have sold their game and logged off this forum months ago. But they seem to get the same enjoyment from bitching that the rest of us do from playing.

The mods are what makes the game even more fun to me I don't want to waste hours of my free time grinding mission to get cash when mods can get me 100 million easy

^^this, not to mention even after paying for the console and membership for 15 years it still wouldnt cost what a PC costs. Thats got to be one of the most stupid comments Ive ever seen on these forums. If you had half a brain and did some basic mathsyou could work out that if I bought a console and paid for 56 years of membership I would almost have paid the same as a gaming PC. (Not taking into account inflation)

The PC is the answer, but if you prefer a console get a XBOX ONE, better frame-rate than PS4 and DirectX12, but trust me, the PC is the key :cool:

When exactly does the update drop? It's the 15th where I live but I live in the future.

 

 

Roughly 21 hours from now. Usually drops between 5 and 7 am Eastern Time.

 

Can anyone actually tell when the update is or at least the times for previous updates? In 9 hours i have an 8.5 hour blackout ( i know 2015 and upgrading power takes that long) and i really don't wanna miss the update it'll be the 15th in an hour here.

I hear ya! That sh*t annoys me. It was the modding point. Dealt with some on ps3 before, Not so much on ps4 thank f*ck.
