Chosen 1 Posted January 31, 2003 Share Posted January 31, 2003 wtf is with u guys man, massacres and all this, this is a game if u want it real it wouldnt have people going around massacaring people and wouldnt have some random guy who knows how to fly 747s and skate and rollerblade, man some of ur ideas are just simply retarded, any company wouldn't put a game like gta with planes like 747's firstly because of september 11th, yes things like this have happened before but show some respect u can't have psycho little kids going around acting out scenes like that they are to be remembered in sadness not in joy of a game. grow up act ur age and think reastically, zoo barbeques are NOT realistic its just some screwed up though coming from the mind of a disruptive kid or aldult if so. I respect that, wise,but honestly the US cant get sympathy all there lives for something like this. I mean for real, The Jewish people still get sympathy(no racial discrimination meant) for something that happened long ago. So lets just forgive and forget and have fun. Dark Angel Posted January 31, 2003 Share Posted January 31, 2003 i think for all the people that think kids, animals, 747's, and destroyable buildings should be in the game are not so crazy but whats so bad for it being in a game. like puts in all the destruction and mayhem in all the games but i really dont care. and for the topic: i would like more cars, trucks, trailors, more bikes, trains that cross roads, acrages, quads, construction vehicles,towtruck service, way more buildings to go in, you can interact with people, work for bars, pizza, ice cream, and any other jobs, and you can fly 747's with people in it and get paid for it with all the other jobs, and last but not least, that there would be a huge water way between both islands, but even better if there was three like in gta3 that took quiet awhile to fly the dodo from one island to the other. I wish for much more but u can only put in so much sh*t on a game. you could put more in if there wasnt so many music stations and stuff but everyone wants music. On the subject of boats, get rid of them, none of us actualy drive them (exept in missions) On the plane side, how about an F-16 or harrier jump jet. harrier, oh, that would be so sweet hovercraft would be tight and boats? fix them. if they dont do good in the beta version. delete the crap you dont need. i like boats because theyre not on roads and you can cruise around the entire area thats why i like aircraft so much Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Johnny Billapaloo is a pilot for Vice City Airlines. he smuggles pot around the country for the haitans. one day he gets caught, and is arrested and sent to jail (i know that this sounds like tommy v's story except he has crack its not for the haitans and hes not a pilot, just play along im not very creative.) he gets out and gos to visit the haitans. they put a bullet in his chest and he is in the hospital. he comes back for revenge and the story starts there. and about kids reenacting scenes or whatever, im 13, i havent thought about actually doing this in real life. do we want it COMPLETELY realistic? no, its a game. and alot of people CAN skate and rollerblade. If everything ever done by terrorists was banned from absolutely everything, then there'd be no guns, cars, buildings, aircraft or anything in the games. Destroying buildings would be fun, and no-one would be hurt, in the GTA series, you can just boot up, get a big gun & let loose and no-one is hurt. The game may offend people if destroable buildings are included, but the game offends people now. I think that if things are excluded from games just because of a terrorist act, then it is effectively stopping people from forgetting (acts are never forgotten, but are eventually accepted). In the end, all that is happening is that small pixellated objects are being erased from existance by other small pixellated objects, when the console is turned off, the player has lost some agression, but there has been absolutely no suffering caused. All this does is further endorse what so many people are doing, trying to push the events of 9/11 to the back of our minds, to forget what happened. We cant go on like this, afraid to say or do something because we might be displaying a slight relation to a tragic event. This may sound sick and twisted, but I bet you dollars to donuts that a majority of those that lost their lives on september 11th (may they rest in peace) probably played, enjoyed, and loved these kinds of games. As terrible and as horrible as the tragedy was, any one of those people could be here right now, talking about how great it would be to have big guns and big airplanes and buildings that can blow up. What about all those carbombs in the middle east? Why arent carbombs removed from gta? for that matter, people die in street races every year, so why aren't street races removed from GTA? People die from getting hit by cars, so cars should be removed. And guns should be removed as well, since people die because of gunfire. What about police shootouts? People die in those too. We've become nothing but a people afraid to say something because somebody, somewhere will be offended. We've become one big cheesy blockbuster film thats been censored up the ass five times over. And now for my comment about the realism in games... Games arent supposed to be realistic. In real life, cops wouldnt try to kill you for side-swiping their cars. They wouldnt run tanks down civilian streets or do any of that crap. Games arent supposed to be realistic. They're supposed to be a way of entertainment. Every generation has its rebel form of media that everyone has an issue with. Music, tv, movies, now videogames. We just need to accept the fact that videogames are unrealistic, violent, and downright fun. All in all, people just need to let loose and stop being so stressed out over everything. Life is a robotic repeat of routines and systems, cant we escape that a few hours a day? (I know i've repeated many a person in this rantathon.
