Barguast Posted January 25, 2003 Share Posted January 25, 2003 Yes, it's another 'what should be in the next GTA game' topic. I think it's about time that the planes were solid and destroyable. I was pretty bewilded that Rockstar had again made the planes 'hollow' on GTA:VC, and as unrealistic as it may be, I wanna go plane-surfing. Trains should make a comeback too, but on the ground this time. It'd be great to loose a police chase by racing against an incoming train... Or indeed, just blowing the train up and laughing manically. Boats, pfff... Get rid of them if you want. I didn't like em in GTA3 and I don't like em in GTA-VC. Ok. On the subject of boats, get rid of them, none of us actualy drive them (exept in missions) On the plane side, how about an F-16 or harrier jump jet. Christ, you'd be saying the same thing as all these people if it didn't happen. It's a natural thing for a building, plane, or whatever to take damage when getting pummbled by rockets, we just want to have that realism in there. I say have the flyable 747s, destroyable buildings, leave a couple boats in as mentioned above for the realistic part. A blimp? Those things would be the Manana of the air. Mostly because I want to see what its like flying a big thing like that. Sure, it will annoy people that were effected by 9/11, and even those that are going to be annoyed on the behalf of someone that should be annoyed but is not there at the time. But planes crash all the time, its just that 9/11 was on a huge scale. What about those suicide bombers? And then the guys on spank in GTA? Same thing... but nobody freaked out about that. Because it wasnt as big of a deal in America, its a bigger deal over in the middle east. Anyways, the train idea is cool, and make em solid. And fast. I'd love to go barreling down a street, narrowly missing a train speeding by, turning around and seeing the cops smash into the train, possibly knocking it off the rails. I'm done, flame away for whatever reason. Yeah it would be cool having a ground level train track, where you could run the cops on it and have mad car races along trains tracks. Kinda of like the game "Super Cars 2", anyone remeber that? There used to be a train on some parts of the tracks which you had to avoid being run over by them, it was kind of thrilling racing and avoiding trains at the same time.
