I found being parked around Denise's house, she will call you a lot less often which is good for keeping her at bay :).Found this little trick when taking over territories based around Denise's house. I'd wait there till Gan2 is attacked.

Getting 'in' an aircraft will extend timer for gang attacks.

Going past west Rodeo and Richman will extend timer for gang attacks.

Original XBox

Carl can't receive gf calls when he's in a car, and also not during a gang war.

The gang attack timer, but also the gf call timer is counting down more slowly the farther away Carl is.

Yeah! That's right. I feel a bit like why she never hardly called me was a perimeter thing. Never tried while on foot.

Still, my approach made it feel she had forgotten about me while being parked close by, I never thought to question why. Oh well, thanks for seeing through my claim OG.

No Mobile Calls are received when Not on Foot. Except in specific missions for that specific mission.

To avoid calls merely get in vehicle or indoors.

Use the Beagle to transport cars from A to B quickly. Simply drive onto the wing with your car, and fly carefully. This method can be used with an NRG-500 to infiltrate Area 69 with style, just jump out and the bike will fall away from the plane. Land your 'chute nearby and on you get. Vroom vroom.

Do you have any videos showing this off? It'll be awesome xD

Yes I do xD Like you said, invading an area like that seems awesome for some roleplay/good cinematic stuff xD

Thanks everyone so much for the tips! Didn't realise this would actually be successful :D

Another tip: helicopters with wheels can be towed, either by towtruck or tractor. Helpful for manoeuvres into hangars etc.

Does any helicopter in this game have wheels? Anyways, all choppers can be towed, but unless they're DP, they'll scrape their bottoms on the ground and eventually explode, which can actually be used as some sort of bomb that you drop in the middle of the road for anyone that's chasing you xD

Leviathan, Hunter, Raindance, Cargobob. All of these have wheels, which also allow them to have a sort of 'running landing' where they can retain horizontal speed while landing.

Oh. So I guess the towed bomb thing won't work on them, will it? Anyways, you can tow anything, but towing wheel-less helicopters turns them into bombs perfect for cop chases. Not like you'll want to have a cop chase in a Towtruck, or worse, a Tractor... and also your Towtruck/Tractor will probably go up in flames with you inside of it, unless your Towtruck/Tractor is explosion-proof or something

You seem to, like me, appreciate opportunities for roleplay/cinematics and this heli towing is perfect for it. :D Any more tips, people?

whatever you do, don't lock on and shoot bicycle with hydra homing missile, once it hits hydra dies instantly and even previously entered invincibility cheat loses effect but if you are fast enough entering it again then it repairs!

Nope, you can tow all helicopters. They will never explode and won't glitch out either

That's true, wheels or no wheels. I usually tow helicopters if I want to move them a long distance, like for example when I need to move a FP/EP helicopter from LSPD to SFPD. Helicopters can also take a lot of abuse when towed, and the huge helicopters are good for shielding off mad Enforcers.

Another tip, the pier that you drive off in 'Management Issues' in Los Santos is a great runway for any planes bar the AT-400 and the Andromada. Makes for safe landing near the Santa Maria safehouse. Also, taking off in the Dodo from there at midnight feels kinda dodgy....

When doing the "Management Issues" you do not have to drive off the Pier indicated. Any Water will do.

I would also like to contribute here with a few tips:
Final quarry mission: To prevent the truck from falling into the water, hit the handbrake (took me a while to figure that one out).

How to become King of San Andreas without shooting a million people:
Easy way (if you don't care about mission attempted stats) is to play "Air Raid" over and over again. Within 3 minutes, one can take down more than 60 planes (>1800 points), while becoming an expert with the minigun.
Just remember that when the clock starts ticking up the last 10 seconds, Zero has to be shot as well, otherwise the mission will be completed successfully by accident (notably, planes can be shot for a few seconds even after the mission failed logo is on screen)
Advantage: No wanted level (except one star for shooting Zero), CJ keeps armor and health.
I encountered two glitches, though:
- When in possession of a rocket launcher, from time to time CJ will come out of the (failed) mission with said rocket launcher in his hands, but the icon in the upper right corner is empty. Game crashes when attempting to fire afterwards. Saving and reloading or collecting additional rockets at SF Airport solves this and brings back the icon, though.
- Sometimes after a few runs the minigun turned silent (but kept firing).
Recommendation: Save in Doherty after 4-5 runs. Run there, game crashed twice when I wanted to drive back.

Hard way: Doing it by the book, best to get to 100% completion for having unlimited ammo before. Minigun is the best weapon in my opinion, as it takes out targets quickly and prevents CJ from blowing himself up by accident.
As for good spots to gain points quickly:
- Rooftop of the Airstrip hangar (get there with Jetpack), planes of Airstrip are excellent to get heat to start with, good view in all directions to down police choppers before they can shoot back, law enforcement vehicles can be targeted as well for some additional points (until tanks arrive). When done for the day, jump off and run to the Tower for saving.
Advantage: No assault by ground forces, you can concentrate on aircraft (airstrip planes and chopper respawn for additional points). Also, while being on the rooftop, the hangar doors are open. The hangar will keep any vehile still inside when you save in the end. Once I got three tanks and a police chopper (which after being shot crashed in front of the hangar and slid in). This is also the easiest way to gain possesion of a tank in the game without cheating.
Disadvantage: eventually a chopper will hit you (possibly while crashing too close to you). When you have saved vehicles in the hangar, they possibly won't survive (when blowing up with the doors open, e.g. by police choppers crashing nearby, the wrecks will be gone after a while).
- Tip of the pyramid shaped casino building in LV: Easily accessible on foot from front side, spectacular view
Advantage: Crashing choppers miss CJ (most of the time), vehicles on the ground for additional points, no attack by ground forces. When done, save at the casino.
- rooftop of LV airport tower (get there by jetpack)
Advantage: Crashing choppers miss (never got injured so far while being up there). 100 choppers in a row are possible, but takes a bit longer than Airstrip spot.
Disadvantage:Jetpack can vanish. Escape route is then to jump off (at cost of >100 health points) and run to a Dodo on the runway. Head to savepoint where you can jump out of the plane close to ground and try to save before the armor wears out from heavy cop fire.
