Cudwieser
I'm currently watching a round of the Super Touring Championship in support of the BTCC and I got wondering. How strong is the classic and historic racing scene (now outlawed devisions or division that allow the use of outlawed mainline cars (sports like rallycross)) in your countries. I am genuinely unaware of the scene here in Northern Ireland outside of historic rallies. Also in the case of other sports like Can Am, IMSA and Trans Am which historic class would you like to see revived to mainstream with new cars, similar rules (appropriate safety measures taken to make it safe) and such. sivispacem
It's pretty strong in the mainland UK. The biggest events are Goodwood Revival and Silverstone Classic, both of which I've attended. We also still have active championships for all sorts of classic stuff, from Group A touring cars to Historic rally to old Gp5 and F1.
