Alstanbery2
After playing GTA IV for a few minutes. The draw distance lowers. Everything will take longer to render. And loading times will take WAAAY longer than it should. When i'm playing EFLC, it don't have this issue. Everything runs consistently. This is special problem to the vanilla GTA IV. Red Hat
This usually occur because of overheating. What's your PC specifications? Which patch have you installed for GTA IV? Edited September 6, 2015 by Kevin3014
Alstanbery2
This usually occur because of overheating. What's your PC specifications? Which patch have you installed for GTA IV? Processor AMD A10-6700 APU with Radeon HD Graphics Video Card AMD Radeon HD 8670D Memory 7.4 GB Operating System Microsoft Windows 8.1 (build 9600), 64-bit I don't know, because i'm able to run EFLC immediately after IV. I would think that if it's overheating it would effect EFLC as well.
Red Hat
From what I've seen, EFLC is a bit better optimized that GTA IV, just a bit. From where did you buy the game? If it's from Steam, then the game will get updated automatically. Anyway, check your CPU and GPU temps when you play GTA IV. Alstanbery2

Flachbau
Yeah, it would be a good idea. Check out HW Monitor and open it to view temps of your CPU, GPU, and even your HDD.
