Get ground hight?

For spawning in peds I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to get the Z hight of a location.

Has anyone managed to do so?

i use this:

GAMEPLAY::GET_GROUND_Z_FOR_3D_COORD(x, y, point.z, &z);if (z <= 0)  GAMEPLAY::GET_GROUND_Z_FOR_3D_COORD(x, y, point.z + 500.0f, &z);

Code looks perfect but I can't seem to get it to run, LUA does not support the "&z" and what ever type of value I try I keep getting "expected" cmemory block" error. :panic:

this is C++, z is a variable and &z is the adress of the variable (a pointer), you should look how the equivalent function look in lua.

Seems pointers don't really work in LUA, but I found another solution;

local z = 10000<spawning ped> local PedHeight = natives.ENTITY.GET_ENTITY_HEIGHT_ABOVE_GROUND(PedID)local z = z - PedHeight  natives.ENTITY.SET_ENTITY_COORDS_NO_OFFSET(PedHeight,x,y,z + 3, true, true, true);
