Where to play SA better [PC, Mobile, Console]

Recommended Posts

BeatenbyMichaelDeSanta

Rockstar has already released SA in PS2,PC

and was Re-released on iOS,Android,Xbox 360,Xbox One-Maybe

But i have PC and iOS so where do you think playing SA better

the good thing in PC is fast and unlimited modding.

The good thing in iOS is that you can bring it anywhere especially at roadtrips i suggest riding on van and HD remastered everything but difficulties and shortage of mods that requires Jailbreak sh*t that can ruin my iPhone.

Your choice and your suggestion.

I'd say you're right lastpackage, but it's the other way around for me: Play it on PC w/ PS2 mods, play it on PS2 if you don't have PC :D

I play it on PC with PS2 mods and some other minor tweaks. The PS2 has the best console version. Watch some PC/PS2 comparisons on YouTube to see the effects and objects other versions are missing.

I'd rather play it on PC w/ SkyGfx. It looks great and runs at 60 fps w/ the frame-limiter disabled, VSync enabled, 1080p resolution, 4x antialiasing, 16x anisotropic filtering, and a few other essential mods/tweaks:

Didn't they add the update for the PC version where they removed some songs in radio stations for license issues?

  • If you want an original feel of the game, play PS2
  • If you like mods in the game, go for the PC. (And you can play SA-MP too!)
  • If you like playing while your in the public transport or something, either mobile or IOS.

In the name of Gaben, a mighty PC will always be the best way to play just about any game, for only the gloriest of knights can afford that. Mobile is just a lame joke to go with the zombie apocalypse that's taking place right now... And don't even get me started on consoles, for a true PC knight must not talk about this platform. Choose wisely, lost one, and may Gaben have mercy on you :catloaf:

PC version with a couple of mods

Unmodded PC version, which still looks, performs and plays better than PS2 version overall

Note: If you get the PC version, DON'T buy it from Steam. They have cut some of the best radio songs among other stuff. Instead try to find a physical copy.

If you asked me the same question two years ago I would say PS2, but now I will take PC version with mods any day:

Depends on how will you control PC, Xbox, or PS2.

Would say PS2 but if you can track a disc copy of San Andreas for the PC, get it and install all the mods that bring back the PS2 features. You get an enhanced vanilla experience that doesn't change a lot from initial feel.

If you still thinking in which platform play San Andreas, definitely PS2 or PC with this two MUST HAVE plugins: SkyGfx and SilentPatch. ;)

The PC game is Brighter, for whatever reason the Console game (PS2/PS3) is darker. It is super easy when using a proper USB Generic PC GamePad.

The PC game was dumbed down for Keyboard & Mouse use, making many missions easier.

The PC game has missions much easier, example "Burglary". In that if the Alarm is tripped you may reenter the same building but in the Console game you must enter a different building before going back to the original.

Everyone usually blames consoles for game sequels being dumbed down

Meanwhile, R* games are more hardcore on consoles

I Played all versions(PS2-PS3-PS4,XBOX,XBOX 360-IOS,PC) And in my opnion all version have their diferentes styles that make each other special, for exemple Ps2 has his unique rendering style on games effects(that can be added on pc via sky-gfx) and nice low roads textures due to the hardware of the Ps2, PC Felt Nice since you can have a moddable gameplay on a easer way, the Xbox is smotter gameplay and dark redering on the atmosphere (if you note the Xbox games have thar style of redering) but it look similar to pc but its not like it, the Xbox 360 and mobile is colorfull and controls is a little annoying in my opnian but not bad, on this version(Xbox 360 Mobile) the graphics is really nice but i has a lot of features cut like the 3d grass and some procobs(the static objects on the map).

in my opnion(again) play all the versions and judge by yourself what is better because any version is bad all versions are good and rockstar gave a lot of options of choices in that way

Pc is best for long gameplays.

It drains a lot of battery in phones especially at high settings.

PC is definitely the best in terms of the controls and ease and enjoyable of the gaming experience. PS2 has the best graphics (orange tint). iOS does cloud saves and is a great way to kill time, but passing paramedic missions could be a nightmare.

Mods are great, but SA is best played without them. The one mod that is great though is Snow San Andreas HQ 2011. Very hard to come by, but if it should be 1.4Gb if you find it.
