Is San Fierro the lamest place in San Andreas?

take a really good look around chinatown and hippy shopper side mission location area, detailed and interesting, recently discovered nice big backyard secluded area from behind some apartment houses in san fierro, it was nicely surrounded by high appartment houses up and downhill, close to houses uphill between fences was police bribe, location is just north from San Fierro Medical Center on north-west side!

San Fierro has always been my favourite city since I first played, I loved the vibe - by the time I was nearing the end of the string of missions in Los Santos, the ghetto stuff had gotten old. The stint in the countryside was a welcome break and by the time it came to being introduced to San Fierro, I was ready for a new city. I found the pace perfect, and San Fierro has a good variety of missions, whether you like them or not. Las Venturas was cool and all, but it all felt... rushed? I loved the desert surrounding and I had a lot of fun exploring every nook I could but Las Venturas never felt right. San Fierro all the way.

The thing I love most about SF is the sloping roads. They're simply awesome for high speed police chases. R* did a great job making each city feel unique.

I'd say San Fierro is loads better than Las Venturas, that place has nothing really going on outside of the strip.. And San Fierro has the coolest airport by far (looks nice on the map too, really stands out)

Much like Las Vegas, in a way.

I felt the atmosphere was darker compared to other places in San Andreas sort of reminded me of Liberty City. Im a massive fan of Liberty City so I felt at home there, so no its not the lamest place just a little darker compared to Los Santos and Las Ventura

San Fierro is actually my favourite city in SA. It has distinct architecture, some cool places and really unique vibe.

Cruising around the streets with SF-UR tuned in is really something.

I like all three cities. They each provide their own vibe and ambiance. But SF is definitely not the lamest place in SA..

San fierro is probably the most dead city in the game, but the buildings textures are pretty,i think to it´s size it was the first place made probably.I think...

San Fierro sucked ass, I agree OP

Shame they wasted the setting in SA. We should have gotten a SF (with a much bigger and better city) game set in the 70's.

Yeah I totally agree with this, I felt the exact same way when I first played SA, finally left the countryside and visited SF for the first time. I'm playing SA again on my PS4 only for the second time in 11 years, and I forgot just how much more interesting the story had become during CJ's stay in SF. Infiltrating the Loco Syndicate, getting into Jizzy B's inner circle, helping out the Triads with their gang war with Da Nang Boyz, man all that good stuff had me hooked to the screen. I also forgot how good the SF missions were too, and I not long ago realised I could own a money-making asset with Wang Cars. There was so much I missed and overlooked about SF in my first SA playthrough.

San Fierro was my favourite. As much fun as Las Venturas was, I spent the least amount of time there.

I like San Fierro, partially due to the fact that I live near to the actual San Francisco, but ingame it always felt a bit drab, bland, compared to San Francisco. Los Santos always felt much fuller and more colorful.

Personally im not much of a San Andreas fan but the only time i truly enjoy the game is when i go to San fierro...LS buildings looked too simple....LV was extremely boring...

I enjoyed going to San Fierro because the buildings just look extremely advanced to me i also enjoy the sloped roads...

And those of you bashing SF for being dark....just stop...

Some places are well-done, but the others are just meh. The mansions on the west side of the city, that area felt really boring, but the chinatown district, the coast road, Commerce, Hashbury and Queens felt vibrant and cheerful for me.

I don't think San Fierro is the lamest place in San Andreas, neither would I say about any other major city. They all have their charming and unpleasant sides.

San Fierro

I always liked it, because it felt really refreshing after country-side missions.

Something special about SF I cant explain. CJ's foundation of work feels legit, the roads are perfect for stunts.

Landed my car on that train in the middle off to a cop car & I kicked my nitro straight to a tree. What's not to like? lol.

Mellow vibe of SF is why I stay there so often.
