Nah nah nah Gta 6 Posted September 18, 2015 Share Posted September 18, 2015 (edited) I'm not a fan of the atmosphere, It felt boring and the whole city didn't have many interesting places to goto except Doherty, The docks and Bayside, and Angel pine if that counts. Ss4gogeta0 Posted September 21, 2015 Share Posted September 21, 2015 San Fierro is one of my favorite cities. mostly because my family used to always take trips to San Francisco when I was growing up... it feels empty though because there isnt much emphasis on the activities that are available in SF compared to LS and LV. LS had the ever exciting gang wars and LV had the Gambling in large luxerious casinos, where as SF does not really have any defining gameplay aspects. I have always wanted a mod that focuses on reworking and restructuring the city of San Fierro in GTA SA. I released a mod that reworked the gang influence and control of San Fierro. but I wish someone would take the time to bring the city up to par with Los Santos & Los Venturaz Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

"different" from LS and LV. I don't think so, the first city in the development was Los Santos by obvious reasons. If you look closely Los Santos has a lot of details like props, bridges, buildings with beacons, a big freeway with his intersections around the city. The previous things is present in San Fierro and Las Venturas but in a less amount, for example only a few buildings has beacons in San Fierro and the same thing with Las Venturas if I remember correctly while in Downtown, Los Santos a lot of buildings has beacons. I absolutely love to cruise around the areas of San Fierro. Its a lot atmospheric than LS and LV. Now, I haven't been able to visit the real San Francisco to understand the differences, or to do any justification here. You may be right if you actually have a strong reason to believe that the game didn't match the real SF in comparison, but even then to me, I don't think it matters much how real SF looked, since the SF in game still managed to capture my attention for the lovely immersion it offers. So, if that's just lame to you then I wonder how absolutely amazing would the real SF be to experience. If you don't do anything more than the story in SF, then it's just a toilet made for leaving the sh*thole that is Whetstone. San Fierro is gorgeous if you go sightseeing though. Most of it's more beautiful than the best parts of either other city. Gardens, parks, vibrant hashbury, the esplande, and the bridges over the bay on a foggy morning, go see it all, it's why they assign the camera pickups there! The Los Venturas just has more well known "Landmark" structures than does SF. Many LS buildings go unnoticed because few know about them.Los Santos and the surrounding environs covers just as many Stereotypical structures and geographical representations.It is a game, with representations of Real places compressed into a few square miles. And, is not intended to Exact representations of the real world. SmokesWithCigs Posted November 3, 2015 Share Posted November 3, 2015 san fierro has a completely different variety of peds, driving school, photo snap side quest locations, a courier motorcycle side quest near the hippy shop, more shops than los santos different side activities like valet the toy and hobby shop that you buy for the zero missions which also has an interiour an auto dealer ship on the north east side its smaller than ls but it seems like there is more to do. i haven't reached las venturas yet but san fierro is fun. latigreblue and Son of Zeus 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It was moody, foggy and depressing but probably the most atmospheric city in SA, and it's also beautiful, the bay, the bridges, Chinatown, the port, everything. And it felt really different from ther other two cities. And in my opininon the mission were allright too. I loved to work for the Triads, especially loved Amphibous Assault and The Da Nang Thang. And the Wang Cars missions were cool too. Las Venturas on the other hand had a bunch of casinos and Salvatore Leone lived there for a while, and Los Santos was like L.A. with all of the gangs and stuff. PS2 and PC have different textures for the roads (and some buildings too) but on PC are awful, have some kind of mix between PC texture (black color wtf R*?), resolution (512x512) and some PS2 textures on it (more noticeable in the airport), looks so ugly and rushed as well. Official General Posted December 9, 2015 Share Posted December 9, 2015 (edited) I prefer Los Santos and Las Venturas for obvious reasons, and San Fierro is my least favourite place. However there is somehow I do like about SF, it's good to get away to a city that's extremely different in every way to the next. I just like the fact that it's a small city, and much less chaotic, more relaxed and peaceful in atmosphere than LS or LV. It's got this feeling of a unique and mysterious serenity about it, and the best thing about that is I can use Carl, an LS gangsta to come through the place bring mayhem, tear the place up and set it on fire !!
