Hi guys it's nigel. I have been thinking about making a gta online zombie series/movie. Would you guys watch something like this?

What are some things i should avoid?

What are somethings i should do?

I got encouraged from The walking dead.

Thank you everyone, and I'll also be doing this on consoles not pc.

I'll watch if you provide an economy size bag of Cool Ranch Doritos.

PS4 reigns supreme.

I mean with this editor coming out, I wouldnt think to be opposed to the idea.

As long as you speak real clear English, to where I can understand ya, we're good.

PS4?

Do avoid consoles. In movie-making, the PC is king.

Do avoid cliche storylines. Please, don't be like TWD. Zombieland sticked out because it was funny, so you could try humor. School-Live sticked out because it blends anime slice-of-life cliches with psychological terror post-outbreak. Classic zombie movies like Dawn of the Dead sticked out because they were representations of society problems (such as consumerism or blending in with the crowd).

If running low on inspiration, do look at Undead Nightmare for ideas. It's a perfect blend of surreal, comedy and horror.

If possible, do study camera angles and basic cinematography. "Perfect angles" exist, and they're not easy to get.

Most importantly, have fun doing this project. These kinds of things crumble if you don't enjoy them.

Make a story like 28 days later where mindless, rabid, fast-moving zombies chase you relentlessly, all over the city, with intent to kill you again and again.

Oh, that's right -- we already have that -- it's called GTA Online free-roam.

If you want slow zombies, I recommend getting the Zed Actors/Actresses to get their characters drunk. Making them look like shambling zombies.

Also, don't make it all action, give us a good story whilst combining the action scenes.

And make them unique.

Should i have females or a male cast?

And i wrote down having the actors drunk, thanks.

Here's a cheat sheet, complete with pictures (you have to make an account though):

Telltale Games does an excellent job with camera angles, so if instead of watching a movie you'd rather play something, they have incredible scenes which you can play and study. Hint: Notice that when a character falls down, the camera looks at them from above, which makes the situation appear more dangerous, or looks at the zombie from below, making them seem more threatening.

Avoid cliches, make sure you have people helping you, take a look at all the clothing you can get and also zombie masks, I knew a little glitch that gave you a ripped shirt and that kinda fits with a zombie, I don't remember the glitch but you can google it

First thing you should do is smoke a lot of weed for inspiration then send me some of those Doritos NightTrain was speaking of because after the first idea of mine Doritos sound pretty god damn good right now.

See? Now, this is the way you do it. :p

EDIT: One step to add, 5a - when the zombie actor gets shot by a player, the zombie should make ghastly screaming and gurgling sounds in the mic for a few seconds.
