Ordering a Stratum

I'm extremely disappointed.

Does it no longer spawn with any options?

 

I wanted to grab one with at least two.

But now I'd be happy with just one of the three.

Mostly the bumper lip.

 

There's also the spoiler and roof rack.

So.

Is there any way to get it with one of the options?

I'm currently ordering my twelfth one.

Kept ordering. Tried different colors. Tried the same color.

No dice.

 

I'm still absolutely baffled that this car's addons aren't mods in LSC... I don't understand.

To get everything on the Stratum, you would have to had brought it over from single player back on last gen.

Also, order stratum's have their body style number locked to one value; on the street vehicles aren't affected.

So, if you want the other body versions, you got to steal it off the street.

Aye, but I heard that they don't spawn online.

This has been backed up by me not seeing any online.

They spawn online, hang around Paleto Bay or the Sandy Shores LSC and switch session until it spawns.

The TT version only spawns in traffic, so check everyone.

Well, so far after an hour of searching I've only found the 2.5 GT...

 

I'm guessing the Twin Turbo no longer spawns?

I used to have the 254? Stratum.. Sold it not long ago because I really didn't like it despite it being rare.

If you play on PC you can just get a trainer and edit the components that way.

I still don't get why some body options just aren't available in LSC. This part of GTAO seems so sporadic and badly implemented.

 

Rewdalf, might be an idea to drive around in your bought Stratum to spawn others on the street (if that works) - maybe one of those will be closer to the spec you're after, and you can replace the first car with it.

They spawn randomly. Totally agree it's baffling that LSC dosen't have the options..I mean there in the game..

 

Luckily I was able to dupe one with all the options on it, except spoiler. So I have one with, roof rack, bumper, badging, sunroof. (It's impossible to do roof rack and spoiler)

 

If there's a new duping glitch i'll gladly dupe you mine. Always looking to help spread some wagon love.

Whoops. You can get a spoiler. This is one that I duped, with all options.

You get one of the following:

Rear spoiler/TT badge.

Front lip.

Roof rails.

 

The moonroof (clear) and sunroof (solid) panels are interchangable among the three, however.

 

The easiest way to find the closest you want is to buy one then drive it around Paleto Bay until the version you want shows up.

 

You will never find a vehicle that mixes options from the first list w/o a modder.

 

(I cannot stick a picture of either of mine with a "suck it!" caption because it turns out I never took one; however it would please me greatly if you would imagine it, then imagine my sick burn caption, and be to complete it, be imagine yourself being suitable burnt by this virtual razzing to be both sad and slightly irritated. 'kay? kay!)

I really felt you needed an awesome picture to go with this, but the nextgen Snapmatic is clunky and irritating so instead I made this bitching GNU Paint version to get you really hot and bothered. So if you could, again, really just sort of look at this and squint (alot) and really just let those emotions play out over this, that'd be swell.. 'kay? Kay!

 

 

ps: sorry about not being able to stay in the lines but it's hard to wiggle that mouse back and forth and I couldn't find where the paintfill was so you get one that looks like it got kinda beat up while driving around or something. You could, I suppose, jsut pretend it's more authentic that way and not my shoddy paint skills. 'kay? kay!

Buying one was a huge waste of time.

Seems like they don't spawn if you're driving one.

Usually I grab whatever car is most common, but the most luck I had was in a dump truck...

Yes, but it's impossible to get one with the front lip and spoiler to spawn in traffic.

Without modding? You don't.

 

Front lip or rear spoiler, pick.

 

Again, take one of the Stratums you bought up to Paleto and just drive around the town, down to the place where the cable cars are, and then back to town. You'll have to keep looking to find the version you want. They do turn up.

 

I suggest an invite only session with no one else so as to not pollute the spawns.

As great as this car is, don't expect much out of it as it has no visual modifications to offer in LSC.

Due to the poor online lobbies being full of stupid modders and script-kiddies, plus R*'s stance on online visual improvements means there really isn't much of a point to play it on PC.

It's like the spoiler-less Phoenix "glitch"...if I can get it happen and drive around in it, just put that option in the menu!
