Some of my issues on GTA Online

1. So many MISSED OPPORTUNITIES

2. Los Santos is more like Grozny in Chechnya during the 90s or Tskhinvali on 2008 in many sessions

3. The lack of content makes the game get old too fast in a couple of months

4. Rockstar's atrocious silence regarding new content

5. GTA Online badly needs a REVOLUTION that will blow everyone's minds out with lots of content the game that will offer.

6. The lack of freedom on some stuff(e.g. actual skinny dipping, topless clothing, nightclubs,etc) and the limited activities outside missions are atrocious.

7. Third world servers with infamous errors like "The Rockstar game services are currently unavailable" and others I mean come on the servers would be like other Online games with the basic stuff like transactions are actually fast and not this slowass "Transaction processing" and sh*t.

8. The last but this is not I can easily forgive Rockstar at = Almost 2 f*ckING YEARS of waiting just to get halfassed content. Note: PC user

yea but not everyone is into freeroam all the time.

also to many people dont speak english, many race, many do missions....matchmaking is still flawed...

I didn't meet my expectations because the trailer stated that every thing you see in single player you will be able to do online. when they said every thing that would have to entail pets wildlife and the stock market. the creator was a letdown because it has been abused and over run with sh*t hack jobs, snipers vs and parkour(i'll rant about that some other time). all in all I still enjoy the game and its competitive modes and activities although I was looking forward to owning a pet.

 

 

 

^well I heard some where or read that all the things in story mode would be included online. I thought the trailers mentioned that.

gta and sports games are pretty much the only reason I still play video games, other games dont quite do it as much for me

I'll always respect you LL, no matter how much I disagree at times.

 

In regards to OP, my expectations were halfway met. This trailer hyped me up, and like a fish, I caught the bait. I was excited to play at first, but after a while, I started to see the lack of effort put in by Rockstar and the ignorance of the community.

 

I must say, these two years have made me more wise about things. I stop caring about what new content to look forward to and rather sit back and take my time with things. The only thing that's been keeping me interested is the racing scene. Beyond that, I'm chill about the rest of the game. My rank is like a badge of honor.

 

5/10 - I used to hate this game with a passion but I now realize that the problem lies with R* and the community itself. Another reason I rate 5/10 is because I believe truly that somebody at R* truly had a vision of GTAO. And they put so much effort into it. It's just... Corporate pushing and community negligence turned this game into what it is today.

 

Not even mad any more. I just look back, and keep ranking up till I can't take it any more..

 

I heard they just have a skeleton crew working on the online but I'm not sure.

To me it seems like they are prioritizing the cash cards but it was not as bad as before. They pick and choose what to improve and work on. If it's draining the players resources or making hard for them to make gain then they ignore it but if it's not then they will openly address it and not give a copy and paste response.

I don't hate online anymore but I still think it needs can be improved if they just listen.

It is my most played game ever.

 

The online gaming community is a bit of a let down. I met some very interesting people. The average random player is often a moron. I mean failure to go to the yellow circle in the sky, c'mon. Not to mention shooting you in the back to pump up their KD.

 

If players work together a bit more, there would not be any money issues.

I took off a point for server issues, loading times, shoddy matchmaking, etc.

 

I took off another point for the negative GTA community. I expected a little more cooperation amongst players. I've always wondered why kill other players when you have an entire map of NPCs, police (which people still complain about), gang attacks, target vehicles, deathmatches, LTS, captures, missions and heists, etc. It seemed unnecessary. I knew it would be aggressive and violent, but it seems like that's almost all people do in free roam. After coming to GTAF I realize my perspective is that of a very small minority and I've since adopted a kill or be killed mentality. Which is fair, I guess. .

I gave it an 8/10.

I like basically most of what you said, and I absolutely love the virtual world that Rockstar has created. But to comment on the GTA0 community -- we know that everyone on the internet is an anonymous asshole. A good online game has to be very carefully designed to minimize the effects of natural assholery that wants to flood into every online game. But instead, Rockstar made a free-roam design, and a ton of incentives, that encourage the natural tendencies of the "community" to create misery everywhere. I fault Rockstar more than one point, for that failure.

I did play the heists when they came out, but other than that I've barely played it. For me, most of the DLC was a let down, just because I can wear a new coat doesn't make we want to play it more. I see that they've added a lot more features into freeroam, but it's just more of the same.

I wasn't particularly fond of the main game either to be honest.

You aren't allowed to return games just because you don't like them, only if it's damaged. The most you can do is trade it in.

To me, what they showed, cooperative gameplay and stuff, is so much cool than what we have. Specially in free roam, which is now nothing more than a persistent deathmatch with a few stores.

 

Also I have the feeling they actually worsened the game with their updates of over the top military stuff, armored cars and content creator 99999 crap.

 

In retrospect, their game design was so lackluster that it's painful to see the trailer.
