Um yeah!, I use him all the time, well, minus those times when I really need a PV, and that SOB is too busy to bring me one.

some taxi cab confession sh*t right here, i didn't know the mechanic delivered cars until about this time last year, and i had been playing since may. I give him enough to do every day now that i'm aware of the extent of his services.

i just choose a car i want to use for the session, and then request it using the gui for the rest of the session.

30 out of the 31 posts say "Yes" they use the mechanic (included is me, I also use the mechanic).

So far, you're the only "no". Congrats.

I'd like to get my car anywhere, not only on the roads.

What's the point anyway? We don't see him. It doesn't make sense anymore.

Yeah, but when the OP uses the interactive menu it's kinda still the mechanic moving the vehicle. Quietly.

Yep or use the mission quit tactic when the bs timer hasn't ran out.its so annoying when you can't get it delivered during a contact mission because of the timer.

I use "Johnny on the spot" all the time especially if I'm not doing heist setups. I mostly grind missions now to level up and depending on the mission, I use certain vehicles to get the job done, then I switch out to my go to car for freeroam.

Of course i call him, he's not only a mechanic you know...he dhas feelings. Plus, he saves me from having to drive to the impound and MMI. I just wish he'd hand deliver my cars like in the good ol days (so I could beat him up again).

Last time I spoke to him he told me R* recently spent 7 hours trying to convince him to start delivering in person again but after intense negotiations he refused due to the fact that his hospital bills outweighed his income by much more than R* was willing to fork out, even after they offered a 10% discount on the Megaloddon cards.

It's sad, I really miss seeing him (lying on the ground all bloody).

All the time. I actually miss when he'd drive the car to you and you'd have to chase after him. That SOB put on some pretty good car chases.

Yes, I regularly use the mechanic, but I don't know why I pay a cleaning lady for my apartment, lol.

I do when some badass mother f*cker feels the need to destroy my vehicle thats just sitting there at the helipad for no reason.

My favorite part was when he delivered the car, and then I ran him over with the car he just delivered. lol

I use the mechanic all the time. My spawn is always set to random, and there's never a real reason to go to my apartment or garages.

I have a couple vehicles I stick with but yes, I use the mechanic all the time. I'd definitely miss the feature if it didn't exist as driving back and forth to my garage isn't something I wanna do.

DentureDynamite

Yes, quite frequently; plenty of reasons for needing a PV through any gaming session...

It's weird how when a thread appears discussing him, you begin to miss him until you remember you hate him.

Yeah, I always have. It was a habit for me, and I didn't know if there were any other ways to obtain your vehicle.

Opening your interaction menu and selecting request personal vehicle.

Arrows to Athens

If my car is further away from me then I will request it via the Interaction menu. If I want a different car then I will call up my mechanic to have him deliver it for me.
