Henrygruby
I m purchasing this game tomorrow but have been looking at pre owned copies which say they may have use the dlc already, does this mean I would not be able to download the updates and patches or is it for something else altogether? I have an Xbox One. Thanks.

XenoxX
I m purchasing this game tomorrow but have been looking at pre owned copies which say they may have use the dlc already, does this mean I would not be able to download the updates and patches or is it for something else altogether? I have an Xbox One. Thanks. I think they are talking about the Special Edition additional DLC. However the important thing when buying a pre owned copy of V on PC is that you check that the Social Club account gets sold with it, because once 1 time bound to one Social Club account it is not possible to use an other SC account with it. So I would recommend checking with the Retailer or whoever sells it to you otherwise your Copy will be pretty much useless. Henrygruby
Can I still download updates/patches if the dlc content has already been used?
XenoxX
Can I still download updates/patches if the dlc content has already been used? Well I dont know what he realy means with DLC content, the patches ARE the DLC, there is nothing to be "used" there. You may talk to the reseller on a chat to clarify some things. Ai®a©ob®a
Can I still download updates/patches if the dlc content has already been used? Since nobody else is giving you a stright answer i will... The DLC = Patches they are one in the same.... The only special content that you won't be able to get is the Returning Player Content if you haven't played GTAOnline on a PS3/360 before other than that you will have access to everything else in the game including all 28 updates. The updates will be installed automatically while the game is installing, In the future you'll be prompted to install the latest update the next one is due in September. All updates as of right now are free to download. Edited August 30, 2015 by Troubadour
marco6158
On Current Gen all the updates that have been released since 2013 are included in GTA, you'll just have to download updates that came later than the release of GTA V for CG. And they are all free. You won't get the blimp anyway as it was for old gen only (the Atomic blimp) nor the returning player content, but that's normal.
