The present lack of good armour is just weird. An old GTA vehicle is largely gone from Online. Reverse the nerf.

none of the vehicles in this game get to their top speed they have in real life, not even the fighter jet

 

Of course the Lazer doesn't lol. If it did, it would go over 1,000 mph. You would go from the bottom of the map to the top in less than 30 seconds easily

 

Nah its good the way it is. I would hate having to relive the twanker days of having sh*tty 6 year olds go around killing everyone and then go passive as soon as you kill them, just to call in another tank and start the entire process all over again.... Plus its a tank not a lambo. I mean it would be easier now with all the new guns and stuff, but the squeakers always ruin the fun.

 

Squeakers used to be like: "OMFG LOOK AT MY KD OF 2.0 IM SO GOOD AT THIS GAME I KILL EVERYONE IN FREEMODE WITH MY TRUSTY TANK!!!" And as soon as you sniped them in their tank: "WTF HE KILLED ME IN MY TANK YOUR A HACKER! IM TELLING MY MOM!"

Tank nerf helped jet griefing.The only countermeasure to jets were tanks bak in de days

Its ridikulous dat 1 strafing run can disable 1 tank now.Too easy. At least the speeds needs to be buffed to avoid dem .

 

Lol at anyone who thinks tanks counter jets :lol:

 

How come people like you never end up in my sessions? The super coocky motherf*ckers that is?!?!

now what gives the jet its power, its speed and explosive canon

the speed is more logical to have for the jet and can make it fun without it being overpowered

nerf that canon to its just an equal to the mg on the karin rebel or the buzzards machine gun and the problem is fixed

 

edit: its that or....well buff almost everything in this game including the weapons we carry :)

The idea is not dumb... It makes perfect sense. The jets cannons are way too OP and way too easy to use. Its the reason why you use the jet.

 

You also seem to forget the jet has rockets...

missiles that now lock on cars, which at the time jets didn't have a all

Tank armor buff would not hurt because these days it's easier to take out a tank because we have more tools. Everyone and their mom has the op homing launcher and everyone can buy proximity mines

That's not cocky, that's the truth. Tanks can't reliably kill jets and they never have

I think the tank needs it's armour buffed. Try doing the hostile take over at Fort Zancudo. A few suicidal cops drive into the front of the tank and it's dead. Perhaps they could greatly buff it's resistance to vehicle explosions. That way we can drive over npc/cop vehicles without having to worry about killing it.

The tank is stupidly and bizarrely weak. It is an old GTA feature, as old as cars in the game. There are more options for low rank players to hit back at would be griefers. Removing the rank lock/cut some weapon prices on most weapons would keep a balance.
