Why people shouldn't complain about having the police in lobbies

So if I want to mess around with my friend, I need to "deal with cops" because you guys have something against free roam dm? So I can't have fun doing something in private lobbies without the annoyance of cops after every little thing I commit?

they're annoying, glitchy, you can't so much as punch an NPC without having to partake in a boring ass game of Pacman while being forced to stare at the bottom left corner of the screen

 

and their childish & edgy one-liners tend to get really old, really quick. yes, i get it Officer, you're a marine and killing makes your 2-incher hard.

 

and they tend to ruin private meetups, a lot. an option to turn them off would be nice.

Another issue easily solved with some private / invite only lobby options. Can't we all enjoy the game we purchased in our private lobbies? In over 2 years the only option added was camera lock on missions & heists... 2 YEARS!

Removing cops as an OPTION would be perfect.

 

Also the toilet humor in this game is sh*t and the cop lines got old back in September 2013.

The reason we complain about police are because of how horrible their AI is.

 

* Their police spawning is terrible, cop cars spawn down every other street, and their helicopters spawn almost right on top of you. When you start reaching 4 or 5 stars, Its almost impossible to lose them due to their crappy spawns unless you're using the construction tunnel.

 

* They also get the ability to use nitros boosts to catch up to your Adder, Entity XF, Cheata, ETC and ram you off the road. They dont even pit you, They slam into the back of your car and your wheels snap to the left/right for a few seconds.

 

* The NPCs also seem to be out to get you as well. Ive lost count of the ammount of times im in a police chase, only for that semi im coming up on, just for it to turn left into me, trying to ram me off the road.

 

* You cant even walk past the police without getting a wanted star.

 

* Animals can also call the police on you when they witness a crime.

 

Your player can't even fart without the police taking an intrest.

Most people want them to go away because it's annoying and moronic to get into unnecessary gun fights with them due to you defending yourself against smackheads randomly trying to kill you, ramming your parked car when they are chasing another player, standing too close to your idle avatar, shooting a suppressed weapon near a group of hikers out in the mountains when they have no reasonable means of reporting anything, ejecting from an aircraft out in the middle of nowhere with no witness is present.

 

The problem is not that police are there, the problem is they are terribly implemented. They don't respond in a sensible manner and their combat A.I is broken, broken.

I don't see how police can be remotely fun to anyone over the age of 9 even if you actively want to fight them.. They are so stupidly simple the engagements get repetitive in a manner of minutes.

 

Player camps behind a cover spot. They suicide rush into their gunfire until that person runs out of ammo or get bored.

It's nice to know that R* implemented the most bland form of police and excluded animals from online play because why use smaller fast moving camp busters like a k-9 unit? Oh and f*ck tear gas because that is too sensible.

 

Player going crazy in tank. They RAM IT until they suicides enough men to damage the vehicle. Military apparently don't have time for that.

 

Player staffing cars below with a fighter jet. They chase it around with squad cars because logic.

 

Red mental status player with 4 stars shooting everything in sight but then gets taken out by another. They kill the one that just ended the killing spree, in self defense. Moar Logic.

 

Stealth is a pointless feature.

 

 

 

 

But your half right about people should not bitch and whine. The real reason who they should stop is R* doesn't give a sh*t about actually fixing the games issues and they are going to keep doing what they want even tho it's more than obvious that most of their ideas are insanely moronic or inconsistent when it comes to game balance and design.

You act like a no cops option will remove cops entirely. Those who want cops can play in normal lobbies whilst those who don't want cops play in no cops lobbies. Why do people like you get so whiny about every little thing?

If they removed the police from GTA V/Online I wouldn't play the game anymore.

Cops aren't difficult, I can't count how many times I've heard this "oh you just don't like cops cuz u suk at da gaem get gud bro" cops are easy to lose and kill, they are annoying because they constantly pester you while you're trying to duke it out with another player.

 

Sure I could drive off and lose them but then I give up my position with the person I'm battling. I wouldn't get rid of cops entirely but I don't see why anyone would be against the option to not have them enabled for an invite only session.

Don't the commonly used web browsers like Google chrome and Firefox already have a spell check installed inside the software?

 

Firefox lets me know when I make a spelling mistake by giving me a red zigzag line underneath the misspelled word.

 

Shame that nobody takes the time to use it.

Because getting the cops, who will slaughter you on sight, for firing a flare, to signal a pick up by friends, in the middle of nowhere or getting the cops for being hit, in a car, by a cop car who is pursuing another guy, therefore getting you the cops, who will again shoot you on sight, is completely realistic.

I would rather have the option to turn the police off in an invite only or solo session. That way it only affects you and nobody else while playing. I personally have no issue with the police, though.

Firstly, NO ONE is asking for police to be removed entirely. They want the option so they can CHOOSE for themselves how they want to play.

 

"Just play a deathmatch" By saying this you are essentially admitting you're own stupidity.

I don't want to solely kill other players nor is that the only way to attain wanted stars. DM's severly limit your available interactions within the city such as stores or contact services. You cant see players on the map, you're limited to 60 mins and you also cant start DM's solo. On top of that friends cant join half way through. If you need more explanation than that you're never going to see the point.

 

edit: I think a lot of frustration about the cops comes from a poorly implemented system.

Police should NOT be alerted to silenced gunfire in the middle of nowhere.

Police should NOT be able to catch up to my supercar with absolute ease.

Police should NOT have the mass of 2 Rhino tanks when they ram you

Police should NOT have x ray vision

Police should NOT be able to snipe you with pistols etc.
