GTA Needs to remove all this Military Crap

I know what you mean actually. I do like having military grade toys on tap and as much as I don't particularly enjoy being battered by a good jet pilot it doesn't actually bother me, but I would prefer the vibe of GTAO if it was a little more low key. More about drug deals and pimpin' than tanks vs. jets.

 

By all means have the cool military hardware but maybe it would have been better if it was harder to get so if you see someone in a jet it's an event, not just something that happens every five minutes.

Why removing stuff?Its not rockstar fault if u r a noob and cant f ukin destroy a military helicopter or a fu kin jet. Instead i think they should add an OP aircraft which is overpriced also something like 60m dollar worth.That way there will be something to earn cash for and will be funnier.

You must be relatively new to the game, because you missed the real HELL that was the tank-griefing days of late '13 to early '14.

No longer do innocent victims have to pay insurance if a tank blows it up (even unattended vehicles)

Tanks have less than half the armor they did then

Tanks no longer look like any other player blip (jets and insurgents are also easily identified and avoided)

ANY rank can have a rocket launcher (homing!)

Armed jets can be owned and you don't have to steal them from the military base

Werd. The Call of Modern Battlefield Warfare crowd is a lucrative demographic. And in GTA, they can get all their war porn paraphernalia via free DLC vs having to cough up dough in other games.

did i say people outside of invite-only are kids? i don't recall such. so, are you trying to say non-military style players should only be in invite only sessions, while public sessions should be reduced to what'd essentially be a poorly made Battlefield title? what, suddenly there's no room for expensive cars, gangsters, designer clothes and all that jazz? i'm being serious, are you really trying to imply that public freeroam should only be for nerds in army fatigues using tanks, hydras, lazers and insurgents? at this point, it's really starting to seem like you're just forcing your idea, expecting everyone to suddenly agree with you somehow, when really, your idea is both boring and uncreative. not only that, but has been brought up here loads of times, and just about every time it's mentioned, the majority disagree. not that you'd know, since you've only joined this site 5 days ago.

Take out the tanks, insurgents, hydras and attack in a pack. Show OP how fun it is to be on the otherside of the asswhoopin'.

Actually, military aspects have been around since the first GTA.

 

Customising vehicles has only been in two GTA games (SA & V).
