GTA Needs to remove all this Military Crap

Like seriously when did gta be about kurumas, tanks,savages, jets, and other various military grade hardware. Like this game is about designing cars and drug dealing. SP had sooo much drug dealing with trevor and now we have none online.

 

Wtf R* this isn't gta, wtf is this. Since when did gta become more about military, rather then designing cars. Designing a car says more about your character rather then dressing up in lame boring camo.

The Royal Pain from GTA London says hello (golden tank) ... As do the tanks from GTA's 1 and 2, and 3. And every gta since then has had the Hunter/Apache. San Andreas had the Hydra.

 

Unless you're just talking about GTA IV, in which case tough luck. Plenty of people have been playing longer and want their toys.

I don't think there is enough military hardware and clothing personally.

 

The game's Story Mode has an antagonist who owns a majority of a PMC. A psychopath protagonist who steals from the military. A central part of the plot revolves around helping the government fight itself. The setting is post-9/11, mass surveillance and militarized law enforcement are key.

 

Bring that to Online, and it all makes sense why this sh*t is in the game.

Yeah but for example Vice City had only one tank and in GTA 5 we got tank, two jets, lots of military clothing, insugerent, insugerent with gun, f*cking military jeeps, Buzzard, Savage etc. Why they don't add some gangster stuff? It's not a f*cking battlefield

I get that it can be a pain when one of them's after you (mainly if it's a jet), but to say they've never been a part of gta is just false. Besides, the non - jet military vehicles can mix things up sometimes and add variety anyway.

back to topic, they shoud not remove all the millitary sh*t they added because before the heist updates it was only tanks and jets and we now have some variation.

though i think the jet is still currently overpowered, gtao has never been more balanced then it is now thanks to all that new millitary crap, ironicaly.

and of course the nerf on the tank

 

though i think were almost realy pretty much done with all that millitary stuff....only thing i still want is something that can take down the jet properly.

2 - it's been in GTA since at least GTA 3 (first of the 3D era), if not before - I don't know, I never played the top-down games. But as soon as players learned you could steal tanks, that was all they wanted to do. San Andreas, considered by many to be the best GTA game, let you own a Hydra. Maybe there's more of it now than there used to be, but this is just part of the game and has been for a long time.

I agree with OP. Here is the way I see it: Rockstar created a beautiful virtual San Andreas. There are many ways they could chose to use this virtual world. They have cars, carjacking, driving and racing. Check. They have guns and criminal activities. Check. They incentivize and pander to the gamer assholes who want to destroy everything in sight and make other players rage. Check.

 

Period. Nothing else.

 

I wouldn't mind the military sh*t, if Rockstar had designed lobbies and activities to support some of the many non-combat scenarios that this beautiful virtual world can support. But NOOOOOOOOOOOOO. So many missed opportunities.

They don't tell you about reports though, only when you get Vote to Kick.

The fans asked for military stuff and they got it. I really don't see how removing this stuff would do anything other than anger the playerbase.

 

So we got two jets now. In GTA SA we had one. One more jet's a big deal now? We used to have only the Hunter, but now we have the Buzzard and the Savage, bringing us to a Battlefield-scale of TWO armed helicopters! That's surely a big deal! But what about the Insurgent? It's not like the previous GTA had an APC that fired explosive rounds, nuh-uh.

 

In my opinion there's not enough military clothing. Rockstar seems to add stuff that nobody uses and with stranger combinations. I mean come on - why can't the black utility vest be used with any of the camouflage tops? Why don't the forest crewshirt match with the forest pants? Why don't ANY of the tops match the bottoms? It doesn't make any sense.

Hey OP, how many players do you think you report each day?

 

I report on the daily. Probably 10-16 players a a day at best. Sometimes i rage and leave the game alone for a few days. But i don't have a social life so I come back.

 

 

In fact i video taped my friend doing that new god mode glitch and told R* because he kept killing me with his beer bottle while i was trying to do something. And drug dealing has more to do with GTA then army does. If you believe otherwise you must not know history on gta
