people that are against copfree lobbies obviously didnt play IV...

 

there we had cop off option and it was great!

I played IV FOR 5 years and am against cop free lobbies (don't mind it as an option but would not join any friendly fire session just like IV). I don't care for the silence.

Cops are involved because you shoot other players then they come in packs and take away your health, eventually killing you and impounding your car. The game will also lock on to them instead of the player in front of you. I'm aware it's part of the game but a no cops option existed in IV and was the most preferred option in free mode.

 

A no cop option? I haven't played IV yet but IMO that is just a horrible and terrible option that Rockstar put out. Lack of consequences results in a sh*tty game IMO. No wonder people are whining and complaining about it... their use to the unrealistic approach.

 

People play too much of Call of duty, and then expect games like GTA to have the same kind of system, and it doesn't happen that way.

 

If you don't want the police pursuing you don't shoot other NPCS and don't shoot other players.

Smh.

Everyone is different. Some won't like it.

Don't shoot other players? Sure when Rockstar even cares to implement a friendly lobby. How can I avoid stars when a laggy ass cop car crashes into me on purpose and starts chasing after me because of it?

The police help break up the repetitive fighting and keep you from camping or spawn killing in a way. They're fun to escape from and make the world more believable. You don't want cops? Load up that shot saints row game and get lost. Or hell.. just make a custom deathmatch and explore to your hearts content...

 

Also, I don't experience laggy cops. Not sure what systems you all play on, but the only lag I see is players from foreign countries teleporting everywhere. Ai seems set in place and move normally

I'm interested as to why you assume players from foreign countries have bad internet connections?

I'd like the option. For everyone bitching that cops should stay, then go into a lobby with cops. This is why they call it an OPTION.

how many threads complaining about cops are you guys going to make. its so easy to escape them its not even funny. the gentry manor job for example I have a quick getaway and hide technique that's full proof for example. something as simple as hiding in a large bush will loose them. you cop crybabies are a bunch of bitch asses.

I agree.Now i understand why everybody keep dying in the bike getaway session in the pac standard heist they cant even loose cops with cars why they should be able to escape cops with fu*kin biks
