Getting multiple platinums in one go for 'dedicated' trophy?

i was wondering if this is possible?

i was looking through the rewards on my gta online stats, and noticed there is a 'platinum progress' for tennis aces, as well as plat progresses for winning straight sets and winning in a 5 set match. thats 3 plats right there.

i was thinking...if i played with a booster, a 5 set tennis match, and aced my way through straight sets, which would essentially win three plats at the same time?

 

there is something similar for deathmatches - 20 different deathmatches, win 25 deathmatches, kill players via grenades or bare hands. so if i did 25 deathmatches with a booster, in 20 different arenas, using grenades and melee, would this win me 4 plats together?

 

i also noticed there are plat opportunities that arent listed in guides, hopefully getting these plats will count towards getting the dedicated trophy? for example, activating the 2 person key switch?

Boosting these platinum awards sounds tedious. There are easier awards that can be unlocked naturally through general gameplay.

If you talking about "decorated" award. You achieve that award only by getting "platinum" in HIESTS. Getting platinum in any other form don't count. Easiest way to get platinum is join random fleece job "scope out" and be the driver.

Well, that explains how I earned the Decorated trophy in 2013, over a year before heists were added to the game.

The Heists DLC equivalent to Decorated is called 'Mastermind', which is unlocked by earning 25 heist-related platinum awards.

Fodder73 is right. We have Trophies and awards. Some of them share the same name but they are different things.

 

Decorated trophy: 30 platinum awards

Mastermind trophy: 25 platinum medals in heists

 

 

Decorated award: 25 platinum medals in heists

Mastermind award: All heists, in the same order, same team, bla bla bla.

thats a point - how can i track how many plat medals i have in heists? i think i got about 3 or 4 already but i dont know where to check? thanks

You can monitor your award progress via the Stats > Awards tab in the Pause Menu. Search for "Decorated".

You can also monitor this on your Social Club page.

thanks but how can i recall what plats i got in which heists/heist setups missions? i think what you said only gives a number. this is so i know what is left to do when trying to get 25 plats for trophy and prevent myself from needlessly repeating those i already got plat in.

The thing is, you don't have to get 25 platinum medals in 25 different Heists setups/finales. So yes, getting platinum medals two or more times in the same setup/finale WILL count to your progress.

 

Now answering your question, there is no way to know. Unless you mark it manually in a paper. But like i said before this isn't necessary if you're only looking for the trophy/award

phew! so if i get 25x plats in the same heist, e.g. fleeca, i should get that trophy?

 

while thats the easiest i dont know exactly what i did to get the plat. i held the bank, drove the vehicle and that was it. no shooting or sustaining damage?

If you keep doing fleece job the first set up "scope out" you pretty much guaranteed to get the platnuim.
