vianney27
So I started on the PS4.. because I was very excited to try GTAV & Online out. If I login to the PS3, will my characters get reset? (Levels, cash, progression, etc.) If I created a new character on the PS3 (on my ps4 I already have 2 characters), will a character get replaced when I transfer data to the PS4? Very curious here and kinda scared. p.s. will I also get the returning players rewards? Edited August 29, 2015 by vianney27
Solution RedDagger Posted August 29, 2015 Solution Share Posted August 29, 2015 Your characters won't get reset as they're separate for each console, I think when you transfer you can decide who gets transferred although I'm not sure on that, and yes you'll get the returning player rewards. My plan is: Go to PS3 login my psn Create a character finish prologue When I go to my ps4... will this add a character slot or prompt me to replace a character? Sorry for acting like this. I'm barely rank 100 but I did had a lot of adventures on my ps4 Edited August 29, 2015 by vianney27
RedDagger
It'll prompt you to transfer your GTA:Online character, yes.

RedDagger
Nope, it'll replace, you only ever have two slots.
