I've been losing weapons and cash. Have had to repurchase weapons before . I know this wasn't a bad save, because my accessories were still purchased after buying a 'new' weapon . If this is because of Modders (or cheaters) then no thank you.

Not that it matters I dont think but how do you exit online? you should either switch to a SP character or go to start/online/exit gta online. A friend would often just turn his xb1 off when finishing and it caused him to have an issue I cant remember what is was tho heh.

Play the game fair, create your own game and mod the chit out of it, or GTFO. You're not cool for what you're doing. You're basically just a piggyback try-hard, who's entitled, obsessed with showing off and addicted to attention.

Modding != Cheating

Modding =/= Cheating

And just in case you didn't catch that...

Modding...does not equal cheating!

If all you're going to say is "don't mod" when you're really saying "don't cheat" then don't bother...

Now onto my opinion on people modding online...I don't care. Infact I care so little about modding online that the only reason I will ever buy GTA5 on PC is if I can play...with mods...online. I'm really looking forward to a prospect of LSPD:FR multiplayer...which really needn't even exist if R* would just give us RPers what we've been asking for since launch.

Got a little story to tell fellas, relevant to subject of course.

It's the story about one of the nicest persons I know, and probably one of the most decent guys on earth. It's a very cute bloke called Geari. The guy never used a trainer in his time rocking GTA 5. He's been a good boy, playing heists, missions in his spare time. He accepted the fact that cheating was prohibited from online, so we were just doing some police-role play with a couple of buddies in private sessions. That was back then when my GTA 5 disk was still pretty fresh of the shelf. He resigned to use a mod menu out of inquiry for the developers wishes for the game. We gave him the necessary hardware (uniform and car) and he actively took part. He didn't use arrest and other police scripts like we did, but he still enjoyed himself.

After a few weeks he states to me in a friendly tone that he needs a break from the game. In his words, it was to repetitive, to dumbed down. Unlike us, he accepted the fact, we on the other hand still kept modding to keep the fun alive.

A couple of months after that he decided to come back and try out the new DLC, being executives and other criminals. We decided to gather around in a private session with the new type of injector mod menus, spawning ourselves some cash for the new yacht. Geari stated he wanted none, he didn't have the money for a yacht, and wouldn't be able to get enough to purchase one. He was still resignating to use a mod menu.

Before any of us had the time to spawn any money, Geari suddenly left the session. As we asked him why, all we got in response was a Screenshot of his inbox, of a Rockstar support email, saying the man's account has been flagged for violation. As none of us, which were actually using scripts got any trouble, we were naturally inquired.

Turns out Geari bud here had put a custom dll file in his game directory so he could use his steering wheel for GTA 5.

Yes, indeed, burn all the modders..

I'm starting to get butthurt about modders because I have a pretty high rank and get kicked from every activity now. MP is starting to feel like a waste and I've returned to solo grinding, too many lulls with the kicks and the crashes. Solo is way more stable. Modding itself isn't a huge issue because you can always go to new sessions but it is far from a victimless crime. It's problems are sometimes direct and other times circumambulatory.

I'm on PS4 and haven't came across any mods on that one. But the mods on last gen are annoying. I wouldn't mind so much if they used them to be helpful or funny. But instead they have to use the mods for cheating and for making problems.

They're slowly creeping back now. Now that Take2 has thrown all the major updates out and the game will not receive updates in the near future (probably) mod menus are coming out again.

Also, someting called "private" mod menus are a thing now, so mod menus you have to pay for. Rip-off if you ask me, you'll be detected anyway if you use functions like spawn money on these.

Biggest problem is that the devs of these trainers put too much troll functions in the menus, if it wasn't for that there would prabably be less bullsh*tters. But apparently people buy that nonsense ..
