Sometimes, I wish GTA V was a indie game....

As a gamer, I've always supported indie games and their developers, taking risks, being innovative, and the large amount of feedback and community that stems from a small pool of people. IMO, the worst thing R* did in regards to both PR and DR (Developer Relations) was to cave into T2's demands to turn GTA into an "all access" series like many of their other titles under ownership.

 

The same amount of feedback and support R* used to give to the community is long gone, replaced with shameless pandering to the lowest demographic, and breaking what was left of the base into pieces. It's really telling that both long time GTA vets like myself and those who just started are finding this game boring.

 

The continuous lack of information and content, coupled with the lapse of even the most basic security to protect players, is really telling of both R*, T2, gamers, and the gaming industry at large.

(Its sad when your previous title *GTA IV* spent almost 6 years in the top 10 most played MP games among all platforms it was on, while GTA V barely lasted 9 months and has been on the decline. I honestly don't think GTA will be able to hold on through 2016 at this rate unless some major changes across the board are made.)

Lel, I was bored long before I had my money.....

And I lost and regained my money many times.... and was still bored from spamming missions, repetitive gameplay, and a general lack of things to do.

Last week every video game store I was in had GTA V in the top selling either at no 1 or 2... so how is the game in decline.

It's been nearly 2 months since I've played this game fully. I've been playing Wolfenstein The Old Blood and Far Cry 4 non stop and I forgot why. Then I realised because GTAO is boring.

I used to play and enjoy GTA IV MP for years but im not feeling gtao,I have reached a point where everytime I get on,it feels like beating a dead horse.I feel like the game shifted more from quality to quantity.

GTA Online has more replay value out of any other game in my honest opinion. Unless it's a very good MMO game. Most games I buy keep me interested for about a month or two. I've been playing GTA games for years. Every GTA game lasts me around 3 good years. Compare that to some of the other titles that are out.

Same here, been catching up on trophies from older PS3 games, but I still pop GTAO in once or twice a week. With MGS5 coming in a few days, Hitman this December, Rainbow 6 Siege, and Uncharted HD series for the PS4 it'll keep me busy during my downtime.

1st of all no game lasts for ever, are you still playing games form your childhood? did these old games come with any update what so ever? since when are we entitled to updates? if people don't like the game as it is why continue to play, change game and keep it moving....updates are quite a new idea in terms of gaming and if you can't play without them then the game is not for you, this game is 1000x better than when it was released literally 1000x times better(pre beach bum)

You're just someone who played GTA prior to V. A veteran knows every brand, mission car and has actually played all and preferably completed it 100%.

 

I really don't get people who say they're bored or R* does not listen to the community, they not only visit GTA Forums, but are registered and some in a gang.

 

You should be glad that R* is giving you so much updates FOR FRICKING FREE where as your sweet little indie game Minecraft charges you money for a couple of f*cking PIXEL TEXTURES.

 

The real GTA Vets are not bored I've been playing Sand Andreas since a couple of months after its release, everyday to this day and it is still the most amazing game ever made and GTA Online is close, when it got released I literally played about 12-14 hours a day my playtime only started to decline when these money glitches and the hackers started to come by, it really hurt me that everything I worked hard for is now treated like dirt. Though still to this day I can not play any of these free games that Xbox gives us because I would still rather play GTA ONLINE than any other game.

 

If you really must hate on somebody hate on the glitches and cheater's, they ruin the game.

Nearly all their DLCs except heists have all been sh*t to buy. Nothing wrong with sh*t to buy, but the fact is GAME play is greater then sh*t to buy.

 

So they keep adding more sh*t to buy, yet barely add any new ways to make money for sh*t to buy.

 

The problem is, R* doesn't focus on the most important aspects on of the game.

 

Examples: The COPS barely even chase you, they just spawn in front and dive bomb your current driving line. while landing impossible shots in the process.

 

Animals online.... is a MUST. But do not exists and make up north seems lifeless.

 

Auto Aim.... Free aim.. Free aim with auto aim. It doesn't matter.. every aim mode sucks and we all know it.

 

 

 

 

GTA V/O is a superficial game. It looks and sound amazing, and is probably the best looking game ever made. But the actual game play is half ass. And in order to get the most fun out of this game you need to figure it out yourself.

You don't mind auto aim... But you don't mind everything. You are like the poster boy of mediocre. Every aim mode blows. Auto Aim is stupid.. Free aim is clunky as f*ck and thats just how it is. Don't believe me, just read every single Auto Aim vs Free aim topic ever made.

 

 

Animals... You don't care. Well, most people DO. The fact is animals in single player makes up north seem so much more alive. Cows, dears crosing the high way, coyotes, cougars. That fact that NONE OF that is in online makes no sense and makes 50% of the map seems lifeless.

 

The DLCS... are mostly sh*t to buy. I said I don't mind new sh*t to buy, but i prefer more content thats is actually about GAME PLAY. New sh*t to buy DLCS get boring 5 minutes after you buy everything anyways.
