Contact missions?

Does anyone know why everytime that I host a contact mission it will always put me into someone else who is already hosting the same mission has been happening quite a lot and was wondering if there is anyone of preventing this as it gets quite annoying when trying host one on my own!

This was changed in an update some time ago. It happens with all gamemodes. Probably the worst decision imo that Rockstar has done with this game.

 

If I go through the trouble of selecting a specific race or whatever from the start menu, I want to be the host, not join someone elses crap settings.

Happens everytime I try to either host rooftop rumble or Los santos connection happens on pretty much any mission!

The more popular the mission, the greater chance you will get dropped into a lobby that is already going. Try starting up some of the lesser played missions.

in settings set matchmaking on closed and " Remain host after next job voting screen" turn on. Edited August 29, 2015 by Cico555

Wasn't there once an option that asked whether you wanted to be the host or join others? I can't see why R* broke a perfectly good system.

Gta have settings,but a lot people doesnt know that,its too hard for them to press start

they just added 2 pointless settings that should be always on anyway but they f*cked up the default
