No loading screens for apartment and garage entrances...

I say It would be pretty neat if you could just walk into your apartment without having to watch the outside of the complex and have the thought of a timeout.

For example. Say I reach the Eclipse Towers 31 and I walk in the lobby and see players sitting in the bar area, smoking a Cuban original drinking Kong Whiskey reading The Liberty Tree and talking to each other with NPC's around.

Then walk past to one of 6 elevators that lead to all floors and to the basement, where it contains personal garages that can be visited by owners "obviously" and will have the option of inviting players in them to hang out

Headding back to apartment floors. Visiting each floor will have something different happening

¤Players hanging around

¤From NPC's asking for a cup of sugar to spontaneous infidelity with other tenants.

¤Even an old lady that loves your character like she was his/her grandchild and can't help it to tell you her never-ending stories from back in the day.

And a random animation from your character as they get in and close the door behind them and each have a different expression each time

This will also help with the unnecessary loading to visit a friend who happens to live in the same building...

What's your view on this?

The loading screens are there to give the game time to load the 3d models needed to render the apartment, and to hide the fact you are being teleported to another location as the apartments are not in the physical space inside the buildings.

How would it work if two people own the same apartment? That is what the loading screen is actually for.

for.

Simple. Everyone's relocated and will get a new apratment number and they could Increase the amount of stories in every inhabitable building. There aren't 200 players a session remember...

Don't folks want realism anymore?

Many people paid for a specific apartment for the view that they offer. That would screw over a lot of people. You have to remember that this game is old now, big changes have to be carefully thought through based on how players have played the last 2 years. If I got moved to the other side of my building or down a few floors, I would be very pissed.

Besides all that, I'm sure there are technical reasons why they can't render a bunch of apartments all at one time like that.

I don't want to walk up stairs or stand in an elevator. I wish my building had loading screens

The loading screens serve a purpose

Exactly. There are some limitations to the way the game operates. Entitlement...

I think they should scrap ALL loading screens in this game! Why they thought we wanted to stare at girl on beach for 2mins on every start up is beyond me! Or a map before every heist!? Do away with them!!

oh wait... Loading screens have a purpose???

We could have loading screens and a lobby for the building at the same time. Don't we have interiors we can go in during the free roam? They could make a lobby interior for all the buildings that have apartments we can buy, and we could do all the interactions op said, but if we want to go to our apartments, just take the elevator, and a loading screens would kick in.

What's your view on this?

not gonna happen and on the conterary i rather have longer loading screens if that means i can actualy have a 20 or 30 car garage.

ok, not saying it woud not be nice but the loading is simply needed.

Current gen can't be out of technical steam. It has only just begun?

You can't tell me you spend all your time in your apartment. I guess the view is the last thing I'm really concerned about, though.

As awesome as what the OP posted, a lot of things would need to be changed, and it may ruin a lot of things that players have come to enjoy. Maybe GTA 6's Online?

I do actually spend quite a bit of time in there surprisingly. Idk I guess I do a good bit of roleplay and stuff. But yeah I agree, i bet in GTAVI we will see very minimal loading times.

The possibilities are endless. Cops will be able to follow you in your own apartments, and a shoot out could occur...

OP is a new breed of ridiculous.

The loading screen is there for technical reasons. The current gen hardware is "strong" (relative to the LAST gen hardware), but this game was designed specifically to take advantage of the hardware as best as it could at the time. Hell, the game is locked at 30fps on the current gen consoles. Rockstar would have to build the game from the ground up in order to accommodate your ridiculous suggestion.

It's not going to happen..ever in this game. Just be happy with what you CAN do online.
