Maybe the "free mode gameplay" they're adding is the Tequila-la, Bahama Mamas, and comedy club interiors accessible. Currently there's nowhere interesting to make videos, and adding those interiors would bring out some great opportunities.

It's a nice change of pace to have the editor for the next update. Idk why people would want more cars every monthly dlc when we clearly just had a bunch of cars during the past two updates. This update is for the snapmatic community and film enthusiasts and I'm glad that console users will get to experience this feature.

That would be awesome. Whatever this new freemode content is, I hope its not some dumb "distract the cops" or "shoot down the plane" crap. I think R* is going to do something better than that.

Woopty damn doo. Another feature no one really asked for. Never seen a company like R* that completely ignores its fan base, tons of people ask for cool sh*t like Casino, 4th property, interiors, biker/cop/emergency DLC, club houses, mansions, yachts, etc., you'd be hard pressed to find anyone asking for a video editor.

 

The Editor is hardly unasked for.

 

But they would need something else new to complement this update, since this isn't exactly the most-wanted feature either and more importantly, it only benefits 2 out of 5 platforms as an update.

 

 

 

I think it's just a subtle way of saying "no more for PS3 and X360".

 

I'm hoping there will be no more update for GTAO and wish that SP DLC have standalone version.

This is almost certainly not going to be the only thing in the DLC, and I don't just mean the free roam content they mentioned.

What freeroam content were you referring to?

These two things obviously can't be only new features coming in this upcoming update. There's obviously something else R* isn't telling us just yet. Guess we'll just have to wait and see

No actually, I was pointing out he was knocking others for being "ME" players while being a me player himself. It had nothing to do with feelings. I am not a me player, I thought it was a bit of a double standard to gripe about me players and immediately back it up with "what me and my buddies do."

 

So you see, I was not pointing out anyone's feelings just the double standard. And yeah, I'm pretty confident that the majority of GTA players are not interested in a video editor. I think far more people in the forums will use it, but we are a small percentage compared to the over all GTA player base.

Me too. Didn't turn on my PS4 for two weeks I guess and it'll remain on dust if this is only a video editor. Even if there's some content I feel it will be weak idk why.

So its 'that guy' talking again. It was already pretty clear this editor thingy wouldn't come to last gen. And even if it did IMO it would be worthless.

 

You can bet your ass on it that new vehicle content ect will come to all consoles/pc. IMO they should stop making DLC for GTA V and start GTA VI, because GTA V is getting pretty old.

it would be great if rockstar had a movie editor contest. who ever wins get their movie shown in the theatres across los santos and I million in gta money.

Guys if you like my idea could you shop it to rockstar for me? I can't because i made a new account on the social club and it hasn't been a month yet so i cant post any thing. Also if contestant make a good show or commercial it should be added to the in game tv. Call it thehorray for vinewood dlc or something like that.

It's easier to use a gamepad instead of a keyboard and mouse. You have much more fluidity in controlling where you want your camera to be and work faster at the palm of your hands. The only time I use the keyboard/mouse is to trim a long clip

It was very obvious to me that they made the editor to be used with a controller in gta v. The editor in gta iv was almost impossible to use with a controller.

Well...Couldn't care less about the video editor.Also as a PC player since day one of PC release I have never used it.

 

I want some new sports cars,some awesome looking supers(we need some Lambos,a true Koenigsseg,a Porsche 918 Spyder).

 

And yeah some new contact missions,some new freeroam stuff.. new clothes..mansions with helipads..a gun locker..the ability to customize Pegasus Vehicles..drug trafficking in free roam...make ENBs completely safe to use in free roam.

 

 

Also..Fully allow IRL modded cars in Online if the performance data stays the same.Instead of a T20 only super race..a race consisting of all sorts of hypercars

you can turn off cops in wanted status

 

you can play as various character skins, I can't wait to do sum gangsta sh*t as Lamar Davis(I'll pretend it's story mode DLC done proper)

 

make movies and sh*t well the movies will suck because it's only you and ONLY YOU no spawning of actors, you are the director and the actor of your five minutes of fame picture shows.

 

I just realized rockstar sucks ass.

Director Mode only lets you spawn vehicles that your single player characters have in their garages (or in the case of air and sea, vehicles they have in their hangar/dock). There's no menu of every car in the game for you to spawn on the fly, and they cannot be customized in Director Mode. I honestly didn't even find it worth using without a trainer, which already gives me everything Director Mode offers and more.

 

Of course, I would be happy if they made up for its shortcomings since console players don't have trainers as an option, I just don't expect them to.

You do have access to weapons but I can't remember how many in each category. You definitely don't have all of them, though.

Problem here is that the majority of the GTAO community actually wants to get Casinos, Bahama Mamas, 4th properties and other "cool" stuff. And what Rockstar does? After one month in which we got nothing, they come out with the "Absolutely epic Rockstar Editor coming for PS4/XB1!" that will be only used by 1-2% of the community (Counting the already present PC version). And I hardly doubt we will get other additional stuff, considering what happened with previous DLCs. So, what will the other 3 out of 5 platforms receive? Basically nothing. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that the Rockstar Editor for CG is a bad thing, but releasing only that as a "DLC" frankly looks to me as something like: "Releasing a DLC for September: Done".

Majority of GTAO community want...how dafuq do you know what the community wants? You're basing you're 1st grade assumption on the tweens that infest this forum always demanding more and insulting R* and other's for not catering to their greed filled needs.

Basically it means you can take snapmatic pics with a free cam, rather than your phone. A great addition, I might add.
