This is almost certainly not going to be the only thing in the DLC, and I don't just mean the free roam content they mentioned.

Me too. Didn't turn on my PS4 for two weeks I guess and it'll remain on dust if this is only a video editor. Even if there's some content I feel it will be weak idk why.

No one asked for those.Yet they were added. But fast food restaurants were wanted since game release. One of the first Script Mod on PC was "Working Restaurants"...

 

 

You don't have to enjoy it, but pretty sure that some people (including me) would be happy if they would add FF restaurants.

There are some people who are super f'in thrilled at the video editor and that's great. I think there are also a lot of people who honestly couldn't care less about it and that's okay too. Honestly, I can't see that I'd ever use it.

 

I do think casino and interiors and emergency/cop dlc and some of the other things are more of "mass interest", certainly. I'll agree with you that R* is certainly not the best when it comes to communication with its fan base.

 

There was the discussion that they had years of ideas ... I'm not getting my hopes up and there's a fair amount that we'll probably never see. I question whether they could even open the casino. You'd have too many Youtubers "Today I'm going to tell you how to cheat at the casino in GTAO. Smack that like button!"

 

Do I want restaurants? Meh. Honestly, rather than restaurants, give me a storage room (as I noted in another thread, basically there'd be an Ammunation website where you can order ammo by the case and have it delivered to your storage room; when you start the session, you could go into this room and move past the boxes and you'd automatically load up) and pool table in the apartment. Perhaps move darts into apartments rather than in bars in the middle of nowhere. Maybe I'm wrong but I'd think people would love basketball.

 

If they cant do the casino, free roam needs freshening up and some considerable new activities.

Interestingly enough, a darts board can be spotted inside a high-end apartment in one of the Heists Update pre-release trailers, but it was cut from the final Heists Update for unknown reasons.

The Editor is hardly unasked for.

 

But they would need something else new to complement this update, since this isn't exactly the most-wanted feature either and more importantly, it only benefits 2 out of 5 platforms as an update.

I have said once and I will say it again all of you people who believe the Youtubers on about mansions,casinos,lowriders,etc only have yourself to blame.Until rockstar says they're coming I for one won't be upset when we have no mansions.

 

OT: I for one can't wait for the editor to come out saves me buying this game on PC.

I hope that the stunt car thing is the free roam update, like get a notice to go to a place where a movie is being filmed and perform a stunt for them. You get one shot and get paid if you get it done right.

The editor tool is something i'll use a lot. I might create some car showcase videos and some experimental movies as well. I'm glad if the console edition editor tool is at least as good as the older editor from GTA IV.

It's a nice change of pace to have the editor for the next update. Idk why people would want more cars every monthly dlc when we clearly just had a bunch of cars during the past two updates. This update is for the snapmatic community and film enthusiasts and I'm glad that console users will get to experience this feature.

I'm seeing everyone get all excited for this. When the DLC comes out I expect there will be members of the B&M. Everyone needs to take a breath and chill the f*ck out, I'm excited for this new stuff too but no way in hell am I going to start guessing or getting excited for things that I want and then get all asshurt because R* won't add things I want.

Problem here is that the majority of the GTAO community actually wants to get Casinos, Bahama Mamas, 4th properties and other "cool" stuff. And what Rockstar does? After one month in which we got nothing, they come out with the "Absolutely epic Rockstar Editor coming for PS4/XB1!" that will be only used by 1-2% of the community (Counting the already present PC version). And I hardly doubt we will get other additional stuff, considering what happened with previous DLCs. So, what will the other 3 out of 5 platforms receive? Basically nothing. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying that the Rockstar Editor for CG is a bad thing, but releasing only that as a "DLC" frankly looks to me as something like: "Releasing a DLC for September: Done".
