I remember them saying this update would launch by the end of summer if I remember correctly. I could be mistaken.

September is still in summer timeframe technically. So it's still summer before fall starts.

Yea, my bad.

I was thinking of the Meteorological seasons and not the Autumnal Equinox.

I forget sometimes as I am an amateur meteorologist and have a weather station on my balcony.

Anyways they said "The editor hopefully this summer" Hope is not a promise and they obviously didn't make it. The closest we got is "next month" statement in Auguat and info in the upcoming weeks.

 

That's all they said, they never said any update solidly for the summer, they never said an update in the upcoming weeks.

 

They keep it ambiguous because everyone gets bent if they miss a deadline like they did with the High Life update.

 

And remember if people still become indignant then we will get no official advance notice like the following updates like Hipster, Independence Day and only a one day notice for flight school.

yea I couldn't remember exactly what they said. Well hopefully it's here before October I guess hey fellas. Should have known it was one of those open ended statements so they don't come under fire like they did with heists. My thought is now that if it is a bit behind that is was something special they were working on that took longer than expected and not just putting final tweaks into the editor. Which I am still pretty excited to try out. More excited to see what kind of cool stuff people do with it as I'm not great with that kind of thing and would have a hard time putting something together.

First it was the "cannot-open-minimap" bug, which thankfully is an easy fix...

Now it's the "there's-no-minefield-here-even-though-you-very-much-know-there-is-but-you-can't-clear-it" bug that currently has no fix...

Huh. Thanks for the heads up. I will keep an eye out for those bugs. I haven't experienced any bugs so far but usually I don't get too wound up if something happens. I have noticed that the PC guys seem to be experiencing a lot more bugs.

If you've brought threat down to 0 in Jeet's territory, then you're good.

It's impossible for some people who's minefield glitched and doesn't appear on the map...

 

Kind of a downer. I want those rewards.

Ahh ok. I havent got it down to zero but I already went through and got all the minefields. Just got carried away since I was already in the buggy I figured why not.

Yea, last hen is tapped out. I'm surprised it's gone this long. It shows a real effort by R* to keep their old gen consumers happy. They have really pushed the console to the limit and it shows when you're in game.
