Should LSC Let You Customize and Pay Only if You "Checkout"

It would work like this:

 

You drive into LSC.

 

You choose whichever customizations you want, and you get to essentially preview what it would all look like.

 

If you are satisfied with how it looks, you pay the entire bill and leave.

 

If you don't like how it looks, you can leave free of charge, and the vehicle is reverted to how it was previously.

Absolutely. You could even take it as far as they let you leave so you can check it out in the sun with a 5 minute timer. In that time you cannot drive it into your apt. and if you start a mission it reverts back. Same as if it gets blown up or if the timer runs out also. That's probably asking a bit much though.

I'll add to this OP, it should also let you keep mods you've purchased without having to pay for it all over again. What they could add is a mechanics fee for swapping whatever mods you want, instead of paying for it full price twice or 3 times. LSC is no where near the potential it has.

Once you buy a vinyl or paint or body mod or rim it goes to hq where it can be reequipped

That would be nice. Sorta like tattoos. If you replace one with another, it's just a small fee to have the one you already bought put back on.

Exactly, and I'll use chrome rims for example. I don't play LTS or Capture, I'm a death match player. I'm not going to play 50 or 100 of those other modes just to unlock chrome rims for free. If I pay 60k plus for rims, those rims should be unlocked if anything charge me 500 for a swap from one set to another.

For me this would save a ton of time. I hate having to hop from single player to online just to find out I don't like the color or how some mod looks on my vehicle... In my opinion this would make the game a lot more enjoyable.

 

If I may, I'd also like to be able to test drive purchasable vehicles from the phone. Be them Pegasus or personal. It's so time consuming just to actually see everything in single player to only find out you don't like the way a certain vehicle looks or sounds or performs.

 

Maybe rockstar doesn't do this because it could be a potentially game breaking glitch but I wish they could find a way to work around it. Especially when/if a new DLC drops.

I can understand being charged every time you change your paint job, because in real liffe it's a non-removable product, but not when you've bought different 'physical' parts like different rims/hoods/roofs/exhausts etc.

 

I also agree they should only charge you once you exit the LSC where you're given an option to pay or return your vehicle back to its original state.

Y'all do realize the only thing you have to buy to see is the pearlescent paint. You get to see what an exhaust/bumper/rims/hood/any other accessory looks like on the car before you equip it.

 

But then again I forgot everything is always about cash cards.
