Videogames888 44
Since theres one of these topics in the GTA 4 forums and the Series forums I feel like gta VC should have its own confessions thread.Heres some of Mine: I actually felt sad when Hilary died I never understood Why people think "The Driver" And "Demolition Man" is so hard. I was able to complete both on my first try on my ps2. I prefer VCPR over K-Chat (It`s still a good station, though) I Think the Katana Pickup in the mall is the most memorable pickup in the whole SeriesHow about Yours?
Xing of Virtue 1,539
I never had my own personnel copy of VC, thus I have little knowledge about the game.
The Dedito Gae 28,416
I problably said this plenty of times: The first times playing VC i was fully convinced it was Ace Ventura's videogame (??????) I don't know why i made that weird ass conclusion as a kid, must be because of Tommy, Miami and driving retardly?
BasicallyDrunK 150
When I was 8 or so, me and my friends used to talk at school about VC, and thought that maybe if we all (9 kids) go to the Malibu at the same time we can see each other and play together. Damn, we were stupid . After like 20 tries we went to the local internet cafe (none of us had internet at the time, mostly the reason we stayed together) and searched the internet about VC multiplayer. But no, the interned lied, we thought. So we tried 3 more times, until some guy's older brother came in his room and told him "VC has no multiplayer, genius!"
gtafan2u 201
I never understood Why people think "The Driver" And "Demolition Man" is so hard. I was able to complete both on my first try on my ps2. Doing the Demolition Man mission is comparatively much easier in PS2 than PC. I thinks those people who are saying this have a less experience in flying Helicopters in Vice City using PC since helicopters are locked that time. So, they might be having troubles with Helicopter controls.
Sergiu 5,462
I was really sad when Hilary died. I even tried modding my copy of Vice City to get him not to die. Wasn't too fulfilling since it's not canon. Edited August 22, 2015 by Sergiu
Algonquin Assassin 50,228
-The very first time I played VC I punched a cop and received a wanted level within about 5 seconds of gameplay. -I never saw Scarface before playing VC so playing it inspired me to watch the movie. -The PS2 copy I bought was the UK version since at the time Australian censorship was really anal so I bought the UK version off E-Bay before the Australian release and paid a whopping $190 AUD for engaging with hookers and some extra gore. Totally a waste of money lol.

chilleverest 392
-I am born in the late 80s, the game made me fall in love with the 80's, some of my fav tracks from the game are now very close to my heart. - I still get that mysterious vibe from Aunt polly to this day. - I expected more from Lance's death, a cutscene or two, felt empty. - Shat my pants with excitement when i first got to fly Marverick. - Have it on my phone and play it on vacations everytime, recently was in Canary islands, cherry on topping. Alpha Ice 65
It still bothers me today that we never seen much of Mercedes. I feel like she fits perfectly into that 80s atmosphere and would make a great main character. Or better yet Tommy's girlfriend! imagine that, Tommy and Mercedes f*cking sh*t up. Even thinking about it makes me think of modding ideas. Damn you Rockstar for rushing the release of Vice City to focus on San Andreas! I'd choose vice City over San Andreas any day. RIP Vice City, You will be missed! Edited August 23, 2015 by Alpha Ice

GTAPlayer653423 15
Beat the game in 1 day wayyy back in (I don't even remember what year it was). -I never saw Scarface before playing VC so playing it inspired me to watch the movie. Iv'e watched scarface to a point where my eyes begin to bleed, Never watched Miami Vice though, don't really know why considering it's based in miami just like my favorite gta. That "tease" looked pretty good. Now I will watch Miami Vice to a point where my eyes begin to bleed Edited August 23, 2015 by Alpha Ice
ROCKSTAR MANIC 2,005
I have to confess, I'm a perfectionist. Every time before i save the game i must have full armor and full health. Yes, I know when saving. it automatically gives the player full health.

Maibatsu545 2,758
In the bank heist mission I always leave behind or "accidentally" kill cam for a bigger cut. Nico 3,782
After seeing the game icon for the first time I thought it was a game for girls. I didn't knew English then so I didn't knew what Grand Theft Auto means. Edited August 28, 2015 by Nico

Queen 12,414
As a kid, I loved going to Pole Position and checking out the strippers. Back then, it was the closest thing I could get to pornography, other than staying up real late to watch Cinemax. Also, this was one of my favorite songs from the soundtrack... A8ul99 175
The First time I played Vice City, was the first time I stole a bike in GTA (I stole a Faggio).Wandered around Washington Beach Police HQ and ended up wasted by the cops at 2 stars (they rammed me to the bridge near Tooled Up)
XTad 33
Back in the day when I used to play the VC with my younger brother, we didn't know you have to do missions to unlock the mainland. We tried to get there but it seemed impossible we thought the player isn't supposed to do so (because we also played old NFS where the barriers keep you from taking wrong turns so we thought it's the same story with GTA) but we still wanted to see what the mysterious place looks like. Eventually we've unlocked the Starfish Island and when we first saw the gate to the "New World" (that's how we called it back then) is opened it was one of the best and most exciting gaming moments of my life. Algonquin Assassin 50,228
Some more... -I've never been able to complete "Death Row" without using a Rhino. -Despite the un-necessarily large beach I've never understood the criticism for VC's map. In fact I think it's better than the three cities in SA and GTA III's Liberty City. -A while back I said VC's soundtrack was overrated. Now I feel like an assclown for saying that. Easily one of the best soundtracks in a video game. Edited December 15, 2015 by SonOfLiberty
