SmileyBandito Posted September 3, 2015 Share Posted September 3, 2015 I'm just wondering if the video will be able to be stored locally or is it all cloud based, even being able to use the PS4 recording function to make backups would be good if they are needed. Though the PS4 no longer can copy GTA V recordings/Sharefactory videos to an external USB, the only game I know that is like this. (let me know if I'm wrong and they fixed it) Maybe this is why they made the change. I'm not sure. That doesnt make sense. I dont see how they can block one game from being able to move to USB. Maybe somethings wrong with your PS4/USB Rockstar is stupidly anal that way. They literally make the stupidest, most unwarranted restrictions ever. Not everyone needs or wants to use the Rockstar Editor in means of sharing all their GTA videos. There's literally no reason why transferring your GTA videos from the PS4 to an external USB should be restricted. It's not like it'll encourage everyone to exploit the Editor to its maximum potential. Smh... Its not restricted. I Transferred gameplay video from GTAV to usb yesterday. Vertighost doesnt know what hes talking about or hes trollingI see. Thank you for informing me. I thought it was restricted from exporting it through the capture gallery alone. The restriction is any Sharefactory vid you make with GTA V clips will only be able to upload direct to youtube. This won't matter to most people, I understand. I don't want to see that I'm trolling quoted again, okay and I know what I'm talking about. No big deal...just something unique Rockstar has done, and now I'm pretty sure it is because of the Editor. Here's the video I made -snip- No sh*t... now make a ShareFactory file/video containing GTA V clips and try to copy it to USB. People (including me) still appreciate and "give a sh*t" about games older than 2 years old. Such as the Valve games which are extended by Mods. Such as GMod, Left 4 Dead 2 and Half Life 2. You can record at any moment outside of cutscenes. You can't, however, edit your camera angles if you recorded gameplay captured in first person.
