Why are bad sport lobbies necessary in game like GTA?

I take it as a challenge to kill them without blowing their car up.

Good for you. None of us are going to mindlessly shoot the bullet proof rear of a super car while he/she is aiming a sticky bomb at us. Broken system is broken.

Jump to the left. Combat roll. Shotgun the driver.

L M F A O!

Ya guys... its just that simple. Just roll and shot gun.

^^^ The dunce was only savable through heists and igg1 launch.

That sucks, I thought it was just no longer savable to player saved outfits? So its not even in your closet?

Car is too far. Combat roll only breaks auto aim. Sticky bomb blows you up.

Works for me all the time. Nothing else I can say.

Then you've only ever faced incompetent players who drive too close.

Shoot sticky bomb. Sticky bomb explodes and kill the Chrentorno using noob.

You would pay the insurance anyway then, meaning you may as well have rpg/grenade launcher'd them.

Edit: the driver would also have to be incredibly slow at throwing the bomb for you to shoot it out of their hand. All they have to do is chuck it somewhere near you, while you have to shoot it out of their hand.

I have done this also. Although I come across the reverse AP shooter far more often than someone throwing stickys.

AFAIK, it's never been in the closet/hats inventory. I have it saved on outfits. I can't access the dunce via the interaction menu. I'd have to select the outfit with the dunce and then change the clothes to whatever i fancy. If i save a new outfit with the dunce, the dunce won't stick.

Why is it always the bad sports that have a problem with bad sports lobbies? You think the game is all about causing chaos, breaking the rules and killing people? Alright, cool. So the game sticks you in a lobby with like minded players who love to cause chaos, break the rules(mod), and kill people. What's wrong with that? It's just the game putting you in an environment you like playing in, where everybody there is in agreement about what the game is about.

I think your problem is that you like fighting people who aren't necessarily going to fight back, and you wanna do what you want with little resistance. But when the game recognizes your play style and sticks you with matching players, you pitch a fit because you don't get have your cake and eat it too. You get mad because now you have to contend with rest of the bunch who are "too cool for rules".Every game have rules man, and if you don't want to play by them, then play something else.

I believe the issue isn't in Bad Sport itself, but the issue is in how you get in there.

- Killed a player? GOOD SPORT!

- Destroyed their PV's? BAD SPORT!

The only way to even get CLOSE to getting thrown in Bad Sport is by blowing up a sh*tload of PV's. Its unbelievably difficult to get in there unles you spent your whole GTA days blowing up people's sh*t to get BS'd. In other words, unless you WORKED YOUR WAY to get BS its almost impossible.

People who blow up some cars and maybe get a few false reports, are then put into a session with cheaters. That must've been said a few hundred times over the post

There's that and the other thing:

THE LOBBIES ARE GHOST TOWNS! There is nobody in BS lobbies. No like minds to find or fight. It would be great if there was a lobby that was stacked with "bad sports".

The Actual Kid

Rockstar had more intentions with this game than destroying everything that moves in Los Santos. Chaos of course plays a part in GTA, but there are loads of other activities to indulge in, so Bad Sport exists to deter one from constantly rampaging and to encourage fair fighting. Let's face it, not many people like the player who spends all their time chasing others in a jet.

I've done freeroam rampaging and have never been in a Bad Sport lobby. As somebody said earlier, it takes a lot to get in there (and has to get to the point where you're ruining the experience for others).

Some replies remind me of this...

As someone who's played since day 1, you probably have a lot of kills too. I've been on since the same time and have just over 40K kills. So if you have roughly 40K kills, it's not a spectacular amount of personal vehicles destroyed if you think about it.

So if for every 40 people you kill, just 2 of them happen to be Kurumas/reverse cars, you'll probably end up in bad sport.

I have 22K player kills and I have probably blown up less than 25 cars. I try to keep my money.

hahaha you better stay out of public freeroam the days after leaving bad sport, you get send back in easily.

stick to invite only sessions and try to play as many missions/races/heist as you can with other people, earn JP that lower your badsport points.

To get cop free lobbies, create a death match with no time limit and invite all your friends :p

1,836 pv's at what? average about $10k each for the insurance. That's around $18m. My maths right? I'm nowhere near that. For many who don't money glitch that's way too much money. Which is why I've never been to bs.

I've always thought it would be funnier and more in keeping with the game if they just put griefers and hackers in an actual inescapable prison cell for a set amount of time, and let other players go visit and point at them, imagine the rage haha.

Pressure Drop

I think people who go on killing sprees in free mode are sad little kids with no friends or life to be honest.

You have lots of options if you want to kill people: Deathmatch / Adversary mode / Capture, yet you choose to do it in freemode where you get no money and very little RP.

Basically, you are just wasting your time.

My 50 cents

Badsport is in mine opinion not right. If you blow a pv for example you pay a insurance cost. So thats enough i think. Its gta afterall. ;)

For those with a ton of cheated/glitched cash, paying insurance is no penalty by any stretch of the imagination, and does nothing to deter that behavior.

There wouldn't be a need for a separate lobby for bad sport. Normal lobbies are like that already. Normal lobbies are technically bad sport to begin with. Friendly fire is on by default and you have a myriad of killing machines. Why are you punished with bad sport points if you blow up someone's car? I thought Rockstar wanted us to constantly kill and blow each other up? Why is there a report button for 'griefing'? A lobby where there is no war zone should be called a friendly lobby which should of been implemented a long f*cking time ago.

Most kids are sh*t at the game and terrible at killing.

Give it a rest will ya?
