Can you also provide a working model of Darkel?

When I tried to put Darkel as a ped and used Skin & Bones he appeared very bugged:

Probably because of mimatching hierarchies. I did fix this in VC and I think I'll just fix it for III as well. Besides, there's going to be a new release soon with the great stuff Fire_Head has done recently. I hope I get to it on monday.

Good news about the new release. But in this case the problem is because I have the PC version model of Darkel, not the xbox one.

Ideally though you should be able to use whatever you want and not have it depend on cop.dff. I fixed that in vc_anim (but I have other bugs there as CP found out just now :/) and the same fix should work in III.

New release 2.0:

 

- Head shots implemented

- bat fx restored

- cutscene hands!!

 

all done by Fire_Head, I just cleaned up and fixed a few things.

 

Unfortunately the hierarchy problem I wanted to fix turned out not to be so trivial as I had hoped. The code is a bit different in III and I didn't want to spend any time on this now, so I'll leave that for later.

Hm, could it be that the files don't load properly. I've put in a check to guard against that, but who knows. Argh, I f*cking hate this. There's no way to just release a new version of a mod, you always lose at least half a day on it X(

are you using mod loader?

 

Try putting whole skin and bones there (including asi), if you already arent.

I found out what it was I think. It doesn't work if the ASI is in scripts folder which worked before :O

I have the DFFs in anim folder. The same one that has cuts.dir and cuts.img so why can't it find them is beyond me.

That'd mean it's collision with ML then. Still getting crashes when selecting missions. Odd. Yeah still doesn't work reliably. It randomly crashes on cutscenes or something idk

 

I guess it works now idk lol.

During the intro cutscene the game eventually crashes (usually when the newspaper fades) and there is no regular error but VS shows this in nvd3dum.dll (Nvidia driver)

Unhandled exception at 0x77C7FA51 (ntdll.dll) in gta3.exe: A LIST_ENTRY has been corrupted (i.e. double remove).

I honestly have no idea anymore.

Not for me. Skin and Bones works fine for me, no weird errors with cutscene hands, or anything really. Crashes seem to have lowered for me as well

Works fine here, only issue I have is a crash when cops punch Claude. Makes no sense to me, but it happens.

Oh and I have to install it with Mod Loader, as stated above.
