Vice is a better game overall but The Getaway is worth a go as well, it's a little short thats all. You do realise you will get biased views on a GTA forum? sanchezrida Posted March 3, 2003 Share Posted March 3, 2003 I actually like the getaway more than vice right now. Vice was fun but its so much like gta3 and there isnt much to do anymore in vice. It is small but there are a lot of cars and motorcycles. But the Getaway is huge and has a lot of cars which are real and fun to drive. Plus its fun taking people hostage and shooting the cops in the ankles untill they die. Yes shooting cops and them not shooting back is sweet. Even though I've completed Vice City, I'm still playing it to do all those little side missions. Use the edit button no need to double post.... 2. The Getaway can be completed in like four days it's hardly worth 30 squid, rent - yes. buy - probably not (wish I didn't). 3. Hard? Umm not really you can heal by leaning against a wall any time you like....it's pish easy, but then again so is Vice. IMO. 4. English. Do you speak it? Carters missions were fun and his patter was funny but they were so much easier than marks, but even marks missions were ultimately easy and really short! It shows you how soft British mobsters are. A few laughs at their slurred dialect. And the game is quite easy, to the point where I too wish I didn't fork out 40+ Dollars for it. I like a really long games like the ff series and games that have excellent replay value, LIKE GTA3. I mean, a blood mark on the back of your jacket doesn't really indicate much but I do have to admit that the indicator idea wasn't half bad.
