just hold your own tank race, me and a couple of friends had a "bring what ever you want" dragrace at the airport, one friend showed up in a chradder, one in a tank, and i in a lime green taxi

There were APC races in TBoGT, where they have their cannons nerfed, so I don't see why it wouldn't work in GTAO.

I once held a car meet where, at the ended of the night, we raced Dumps from the quarry to the top of Chilliad. There were 12 of us. It was pretty epic because you'd have to find that sweet spot on each incline so you wouldn't slide down and barrel into everyone else. Took us about a half hour and only3 Dumps made it to the top. Would make for a good race is someone were to make it. We did it in free mode

Probably because there´s only one tank model in game,so they would all be equally fast.If there was multiple different tanks in game,then it would make sense to race them to see which one is fastest.Maybe they could add APC from TBOGT in GTA 5 and then make a race between Rhino,APC and armed Insurgent.

As for the submarines, I'm pretty sure they can fly though.The fastest aircraft ever built was a submarine, as of 2015.

That'd be interesting to see.

 

In normal races the cannon would be disabled and in GTA Races the cannon would be enabled. It wouldn't be any different from Air Races (where in normal Air Race you can't use weapons on helis/jets and in "weapon enabled" Air Races you can).
