drg
sorry if someones already pointed this out! Liberty City, Vice City & San Andreas all levels on GTA! Liberty was made into GTA3 Vice City was made into GTA:Vice City so it's obvious and rockstar or take two havent forgotten coz when u listen to BJ MSith's interview on K-CHAT someones phones in and says : "hey BJ how d'you manage to play that game against San Andreas with two broken legs?" If this is true...... ive reserved my address just incase http://www.sanandreas.tk (it leads to my crap vice city attempt!
mister_bojangles
Yes this is true. Is San Andreas going to be the next GTA game? Who knows. I've heard rumors that the next city may be Sin City (Vegas) but I think that it will be San Andreas to keep consistent with the series. I have also heard that the story may take place in the 70's. In my opinion that will be a big mistake. Vice has some of the shattiest cars and I was disapppointed. Not too many good cars came out of the 80's. GTAIII was cool because it had some cool new ones as well as some old shatty ones. If they set the game in the 70's what are we gonna be driving? And will we be listening to disco and John Denver? Bad, real bad. They should just stick with the present time and have Tommy and the main guy from GTA3 interact or maybe you can choose to play as either. Now that would be interesting. drvice
ok if the next gta does take place in the 70's ... it might not sound fun , but you all know Rockstar knows what there doin ...they arent goin to make a gta that sux, i dont care if its based in the 1400..... they will think of something....I wonder though if its in the 70's wouldnt tommy v .... be a teenager?.... But i dont know his age ...just goin on how hold he looks in vice..........ok new question...... "HOW OLD IS TOMMY VERCETTI" In gta 3 , in vice city? The-Jackal
Obviously it will be a different character. In GTA3 it was "fido", for lack of a real name, and vice it was tommy, with a different story line, but with cool time links. But you are right, R* wont make it suck, and it will be awesome. I personally am more excited about GTA4: Crime Online.
-VideoPoker-
I'd say he's about 35-40 but that's just a guess. But the game taking place in the 70's acctually wouldn't be that bad, they made alot of nice mucsle cars in the 70's like Mustangs, Firebirds, Chevelles, Cudas, Camaros, and a ton more. But I think that would be pretty cool...eh...
limbfilter
For one I seriously doubt you'll see tommy again. And correct me if I'm wrong but there's been: GTA1 GTA2 GTA 60's (sorry I don't remember what it was called) GTA3 GTA 80's (vice city) Next is going to be GTA4. It's not going to be any kind of flash back type of game. It will take place in the "present". Just as GTA3. Now the next city may be s.a. but there won't be any hook about it I'm sure... No, it's: GTA GTA: London 1969 GTA II GTA: Directors Cut GTA III GTA: Vice City ...See A Pattern? Now given GTAI & II's Cities were Liberty City, Vice City, and San Andreas, and L.C. and V.C. have been used again, I think San Andreaes will be next, in GTA IV. Then, another game will come along, and since L.C. is New York, Vice City is Miami, S.A. is Los Angeles, The next major city is Las Vegas, or also known as "Sin City". So I think It'll be something like: GTA GTA: London 1969 GTA II GTA: Directors Cut GTA III GTA: Vice City GTA IV GTA: Sin City ...just my input. EDIT: Eras. GTA: London Was 1969. GTA: Vice City was 1986. That's a 20 - 3 year diffrence. So: GTA: London Was 1969. GTA: Vice City was 1986. GTA: Sin City will be 2003 - note that when it comes out, it'll still be the past, though now present.
(per)Menant Dreams
I just have a quick question, it sort of deals with the topic at hand. If all those citys were in the original, why did they name GTA 3, GTA 3? Shouldn't they just have called it GTA: Liberty City, like Vice, and soon, hopefully, San Andreas? It's kind of an outcast if you ask me, and doesn't fit with the others.
WalkerBoh
Maybe The next GTA will be in London? That would piss off Getaway Fans though.

Lance_Vance_Dance
GTA: Toronto...Yeah that would kick ass...go Canada I agree with Dizzy Gopher, GTA4 will be set in San Andreas, and another extension will be set in Sin City. On another note, Toronto would be a great city to put GTA in. Put it resembles New York 2 much, and that was GTA3
