Banned from GTAO

So, i went AFK to go do something, I come back some 15 minutes later and I'm banned from gtaonline, as I look for a date of unban, i look into my notifications and see this. where do I contact R* about this?

I'm just worried about it, because I was AFK long enough for the unlocking part to be out of my shadowplay's 10 min timeframe, and i don't know if rockstar will believe pics or gifs. Thanks for the link though, submitting it as we speak.

A friend and I installed hacks just to play around in a private session just after IGG update 1 and we never got banned lol.
Get it together, Rockstar. I really wish they were better at keeping things under control, as it stands R* have dropped from being one of my favourite developers since the release of GTAV, it has been close to constant disappointments on their part. Good luck with your ban my friend, hope you get it sorted.

one thing is trolling a session, spawning stuff or even bombing everyone, the modder becomes annoying, which is the point if they are out to troll...

seeing as Rockstar is more than likely 100% aware of that issue, I would report it to them asap.

all it is, is a bunch of losers that feel all high and mighty and cool by hacking/modding and causing and making others get banned. I mean I am fine with the stuff that actually adds on to the game, but not this stuff that just causes issues for the players that just want to have fun and play the game.

 

if Rockstar would just pull their heads out of their butts and actually do something about the hacking and modding it would be nice. But unfortunately that won't happen until Rockstar stops trying to act like they are perfect and every issue is because of something on the players ends.

Their " super ass-kicking ban hammer of whatever year it is" is pretty sh*tty, I mean I can give myself a few hundred million dollars and they won't ban me. Now if I did that and ppl reported me for it I'd get the hammer. Seems C* lies on top of lies. Anyway good luck getting unbanned, it seems to them that if you get banned, it stays that way no matter what..

This mod doesn't exist and can't even exist. Cheaters can do much but unlocking weapon skins for other players isn't one of them. This has been confirmed by cheatmakers on several cheatforums.

And it was debunked 2 months ago on reddit:

Further more, when people make a topic like this it's best to assume they are lying. Because usually they are.

And I know it's him because he uses the same name on GTAForums as on the SC, and he posted a picture on GTAForums that's in his snapmatic library.

Also, OP makes the topic on the exact day R* did a banwave.

Really, this whole "cheater got me banned with weapon skin unlocks!!!11!!" is the most abused excuse ever in GTAO. Cheaters should just man up when they are banned instead of making topics like this.

hah , it appears to be caused by mods : recovery system , which may be alternatively like " ban inducement "

this is second time i've withness it and the same " unlock without fulfilling the conditions " mod

I was AFK from public because my grandfather cut his hand and needed help. I remember seeing a video of somebody who got banned like this awhile back on PC.

Update, I got a month ban for a weapon unlock I didn't do, I'm done playing GTA V.

I'm not convinced by the OP's story myself, but your point isn't a valid one. If I got banned when I know I didn't deserve it the first thing I'd want to know is for how long. If it was a day then I probably wouldn't even bother and just turn it off for a day. We're all different, so just because you may immediately ring Rockstar support and not care how long the ban was for, doesn't mean someone else not doing so is automatically guilty.
