M.K.N.
The memory leak issue needs serious fixing, even those who has over 8GBs on their mega PC. Oh, and texture pop-ins needs to go as well. Even on powerful PCs can't prevent texture pop-ins from ruining the GTA V experience. Edited February 11, 2016 by M.K.N. DentureDynamite
^^ I'm not aware of any specific memory leak reports so far--if you can, please post as much pertinent detail as you can, and I'll add it to the list. Same with the texture pop-ins (couldn't find any reports so far on that), so anything you have (YouTube vids, screenshots, etc.) will be helpful. Spider-Vice
Along with my report a couple of pages ago because of the issue with video memory, there's actually a few reports of high memory usage around the forums, since the Executives Update. The February update fixed naught for PC, so, we're still stuck with all the issues from before. DentureDynamite
^^ Not that I've noticed--I'll keep an eye out for them though! I typically have more issues with object insta-spawn and de-spawns (might be my GTX 760 gfx settings on the insta-spawn). Ridiculous object despawns have been around since day 1 on all platforms; it's still very bad--NPC cars within ~30 feet of you can disappear just by turning your back on them. In any case, added the following new (to me) bug: - [DentureDynamite] Players officially registered as Friends can sometimes incorrectly be displayed as Archenemies (even being given a "warning" notification--note bottom left of screen). Vombatti is a confirmed friend of mine; who has never fired a shot at me in free roam. I suspect what's happening is that stats from a previous DM (a job, and not a 1v1; to complete a Daily Objective) we had just before this screenshot was taken is "leaking" and generating false archenemy warnings. Also added screenshots for the erroneous stats frequently shown on the "Swap Character" screen (Stats section), and here's one for the missing snow textures when frame scaling in Advanced Graphics options is set to "on" (Graphics section): Edited February 11, 2016 by DentureDynamite

This is the only screenshot I could find: The texture pop-ins are just overwhelming (nevermind the Raptr icon on the right). Even Nvidia would have trouble dealing with that. As for screenshot of RAM, I'm afraid I'm unable to as the game crashes due to this and forcing me to restart my PC. Edited February 11, 2016 by M.K.N. DentureDynamite
^^ I'll add it; is there any more detail or circumstances it occurs under that you can think of (anything that might give R* an idea of what might causing it?) DentureDynamite
Well, one thing is for sure; there are plenty of graphical issues on the PC version to warrant R*'s going through it/them again with a fine-tooth comb. From settings that are backwards, to broken Anisotropic Filtering, buggy Frame Scaling, etc. Edited February 11, 2016 by DentureDynamite M.K.N.

DentureDynamite
Yeah, the length of time that the PC version has been out has at least allowed us to determine that not all the bugs can be blamed on Nvidia's drivers, or just a handful of isolated, faulty PC configs. That said, I can't help but wonder if R* isn't in the middle of upgrading the world of GTA Online graphics-wise in a bigger way than we think; i.e. upscaling it from the previous widespread hardware limits of the XBox 360 and PS3 that held it back, to today's hardware standards (think ARMA 3-level). It might explain why things somehow "keep breaking" in the background as much as they have...and why less time is being spent on bug fixes with each update? After all, we do know that R* North is focusing their entire resources on GTA Online. There's certainly no lack of job security for anyone there. DentureDynamite
Hmm; Windows 10-related issue? I only ask, because I'm a Win7 fan, and have never run into that issue (other crashes, yes--but not low RAM). Of course, I also have 16GB of RAM--so perhaps I just don't play GTAO long enough to encounter it? Also, seeing as how you have 16 GB of RAM, you don't have issues, but those who has at least 8 GB has issues (even those with upgraded RAM). Spider-Vice
I had more issues on Windows 10 because of that VRAM issue I stated a couple of pages ago (or one). Since I've changed back to 8.1 I haven't had major stuttering issues at all, but RAM usage is still much higher than before. mjace72
How about the online car races(alone)? I grind them between missions for some extra cash. I did pier to pier in the Jester in 3 minutes 58 seconds and received half the money I would have gotten had I finished 2 seconds later. I understand the concept of more money paid if you take longer in missions but this is a race we're talking about. I would think the concept there is to finish as fast as you can. Why try for that personal best when if you stop before the finish line and let the clock pass 4 minutes you'll get double the money? If I am the only person who does online races alone for spending money then I can understand the lack of attention. My fix is to add a lap to the race. If you have to double the laps then you might as well just run the race twice for the same money though. I find the concept of taking longer in a car race being more financially rewarding odd and wonder if it deserves the "bug" title.
DentureDynamite
I want to call it a bug, but I have a sneaking suspicion it may be more R* "logic" (seriously). From weird item pricing to a flood of Adversary Modes, I think R* needs to just stop, and take the time to get a good hard look at the big picture. They're literally trying to micro-manage every aspect of game play (prevent glitches, control money making, etc.), but they can't do that and retain both a fun and cohesive game at the same time. Arguing from their side of things, they've never really done something quite like GTA Online before (multiplayer, yes; but on such a big scale), so they're learning (or at least we hope so). They've made some good changes and improvements, but IMO, not enough of what really matters to most gamers. Take just ONE item that they improved/fixed recently: the ability to hide the map icons/coronas--they had a massively positive response to that. More of that kind of thing is needed (e.g. setting weapons defaults, getting rid of weapons we don't want in our weapons wheel)--stuff that may not be glamorous to R* to implement, but it makes a world of difference to us in everyday game play. Spider-Vice
I have lost all hope on whatever they're learning. If they were really still learning, they wouldn't have stuck cash cards down our throats. It's simply R* "logic". R* thinks Adversary Modes are popular than the rest, but here's the thing; its not. Nobody even joins Adversary Modes, much less play them, yet R* continues to add them like its a popular trend when its actually non-existent for players to join because even they know R* is trying too hard. Sonnу
1. Sometimes your character doesn't close the door after getting in the car. 2. There is weird small piece of Murrieta Heights in the middle of El Burro Heights, I'm quite sure this is bug. 3. Vespucci Beach area is displayed as San Andreas when you're browsing the map for some reason. In the game, its name is displayed correctly.
