When youre in a police vehicle, you hear the woman talking over the radio about police stuff, like "is there an officer at the rusty browns in downtown, there must be." \To the point: Whos heard them say - Some maniac keeps stealing ambulances, keep a lookout. Yesterday - i saw it happen. Hhas anyone else seen this? there was an ambulance all over the streets driving everywhere with police chasing it - it almost rammed me off the road, and i followed it until it finally lost me. I think this was a fluke. whats ur point? he saw the ambulance being chased by police and driving wildly, so one can only assume the guy driving it is the guy the lady on the radio is talking about. She doesnt say, "A guy just stole an ambulance! Keep a look out for it!" all she said was that some dude keeps stealing ambulances.. doesnt mean that he stole one right at the time she said that. I think he knows its not a live report... like the other example he gave, "is there an officer at rusty browns donuts? there must be." doesnt mean that there will be a cop at the donut shop right when she is saying that. Anyway, my point is I think most people take for granted that nothing on the radio is live, its all recorded..
