You know you could've just made contributions to the ScripthookV.NET repo instead of making a whole new library for people to add.

That's like telling someone to finish someone else's sandwich for them when they can just make their own.

"for them" They push additions/changes/fixes everyday, it's a community project created by the community for the community so by saying "for them" you're implying "for the community" and if you're not doing this for the community your release isn't welcome here. Creating a new library puts more strain on the users computer than it would if you just added onto an existing repo + it would be a helluva lot less confusing for mod devs.

i just got rekt

Pretty much to sum it up, I made this for more people to be able to use it.

Here's the issue with adding it to the github repo:

- The latest master on github isnt the latest release, therefore not everyone could use it.

- If someone made a mod with this and it required the latest Master from github, everyone would need to go to github. So it's easier to just include an extra .dll

All contributions are to be made to the "dev" branch and then when the time comes the changes are pushed to the master and the library gets an official update. The GTA V modding community is in a good place right now so yet another library for "essentials" isn't exactly a necessity at the moment. When the mods get more and more advanced then the community will need a more advanced library and by then an updated official scripthook library will be available. The last thing this place needs is for 20 libraries to be floating around the place. It would result in a state of mass-confusion, incompatibility errors, and a God PC just to run a few mods.

It's not really your own "sandwich" considering it depends on scripthookvdotnet.. :p Edited by CamxxCore
