The new Nicolas Winding Refn series Too Old To Die Young was a spectacular experience. Could name a number of different scenes from it, but here's a couple that were really memorable:
I wanna add this brilliant scene as well. It's so funny how it changes the mood completely in the middle of a car chase:
Excellent scene from 25th Hour, one of my favourite films. Very underrated, imo.
Barry Pepper and Phillip Seymour Hoffman's character's discuss their eligibility as bachelors and why Pepper's Character is in the top 99% percentile and Hoffman's character is way lower.
One of my fav scene in movie John Wick ^ ^ gun shopping scene the way gun dealer talks about guns
”recontoured grips...flared magwells for easier reloads...and I know you’ll appreciate the custom porting...” just super ^^
and that background music is lit ^
That Benelli M4 is badass . I've also watched john wick 3 srsly this movies keeps getting better
I think I need to watch Scarface again.
This scene is just perfect with that music.
Some people would call this cheesy now, I still call it f*cking badass.
This is genius. For context, Jay, the fat guy is a Sargent he's trying to reason with his superior Deputy Commissioner Rawls about our protag and why his detective Jimmy McNulty is wild and unorthodox asshole but that's what makes him good police.
Does it really get any better than this?
My apologies if some of these have been posted by other people, but it's a been a while since i last posted. I'll keep it limited to 5 thus not to stretch out the page too much.
I'm being serious..... I'm not really into musicals, but there's something about "Summer Lovin" from Grease that just makes me feel good. Plus Olivia Newton John's such a sweetheart. It breaks my heart she's battling breast cancer.
Probably doesn't need much explaining. Chuck Berry would be proud.👍
Cool Runnings was one of my favourite movies growing up, but man if there's an exhibition of human spirit and courage it's when the guys crash in the final race and find it within themselves to still finish it. Still a bittersweet tearjerker after all these years.
Not everything has to be sad. Tell me this isn't still hilarious? 😛
Spring Breakers is such an underrated gem IMO. Probably the only time a Brittany Spears song has gelled so well with a movie scene. Masterclass.
There are so many thoughtful scenes in Amélie that have this beautiful tragic-comedy feel to them.
In this scene Amélie secretly found this middle-aged man's old toys from when he was a kid. She decided to try inject some happiness in his life by leading him to the toys, but anonymously The look on his face as a wave of nostalgia comes over him and it makes him have a profound and enlightening experience. There's a few of these moments where Amélie f*cks with peoples heads for better or for worse but it's always usually comical. Like the time she stole her father's garden gnome, gave it to her friend who is a flight attendant and got her to take photos of the gnome at various attractions around the world. She then sent the photos on a postcard to that the Dad and he didn't know what was going on.
Man, this film was so good.
Haven't watched this film but this scene was recommended to me on YouTube. It's hilarious.
Clerks 2 was a good movie though I preferred the first one. And news to everyone Clerks 3 is back on! Jeff Anderson agreed to play the role of the one and only Randal Graves!!!!
But aside from that, the end ofClerks 2 is an emotional one. First off, the movie transitions from colour to black and white (a call back to the first film which was filmed entirely in black and white. Then we see our two heroes of the film Randal and Dante both looking like they are about to break character and tear up... Apparently that was the case.) its a real tear jerking seen. For me. I’d definitely give Clerks and Clerks 2 a watch hell all of Kevin’s Smith stuff is great.
This scene from Flight, Denzel Washington's acting is so real. The breaking of the voice especially when he admits he's an alcoholic. Really powerful stuff.
Face/Off is such a great movie, cheesy at moments but Cage/Travolta at their best.
this of course. my favorite movie scene of all time
gotta love how realistic this movie is
Thor arrives in Wakanda (Avengers:Infinity War)
