attention Xbox one users!

Because of the pacific standard not giving users the correct amount on Xbox one yesterday I emailed rockstar saying that I was missing 400 k and they gave me 500k for free! Xbox one users contact rockstar support about your money get your money back! I'm on my phone so I don't know how to upload a picture

Could you provide some proof?

 

Rockstar often give a few hundred thousand out in compensation. I've had similar payments from them few times for lost items and such. You sometimes have to be persistent, but they don't mind doing it if there's a genuine issue occurring.

its totally the luck of the draw if you even get a response from them! same goes for compensation/refunds. I have made plenty of well written, non abusive posts/tickets (always about missing money) and only had 1 official response. Also I imagine they review your stats before replying, I am going to assume the OP doesn't have millions upon millions like myself, only reason to assume why I haven't had many responses as they believe I shouldn't be complaining at all about money with my balance... just an assumption though. I am NOT saying don't even attempt to contact them just don't get your hopes up for a response.

    Hi, I hope someone can help me with these problems. I wasn't sure what to do about it until a friend told me I should raise a ticket here to ask for help.

    I've been playing GTA games since the first was released many years ago, and I'm an avid fan. I've been collecting the unlockable items from events in GTA Online since they started too, and now I'm missing several of my collectible items that I earned by playing in event playlists and winning them from Special Crate Drops during the updates. This only happened recently, as I still had the items after my transfer from XBOX360 to PC.

    At the moment I have lost access to: Please Stop Me hockey mask, High Flyer parachute bag, and all of the Beer Hats.

    These items took a long time to acquire, and I'd really love to get them back. It was a total bummer to find they'd disappeared after spending so much effort to unlock them.

    Another thing I'd like help with is that over the past few weeks, I've been attacked by hackers in the game multiple times, including being frozen in place and shot repeatedly with money bags. It's taken the fun out of the game almost as much as losing my much loved limited items, so if my bank account could get reset too, that would be awesome. I don't know if the cheaters also deleted my items, but please help me out here and restore things to normal for me.

    Whilst I appreciate the response, $500,000 doesn't solve any of my issues, as the items I've lost aren't purchasable. It's as though they were never unlocked. I also said that modders had hit me with millions of dollars, so extra money's really not compensation.

    I know that these items are available to players on PC, as they only went missing recently, and some people still have them. There must be a way that you can unlock these on my slot 2 character again.

    That's all I want, so is it possible someone could help me with this, and restore my items instead of giving me more money?

    Also, for some reason this labelled "Missing Vehicles". I am not missing vehicles, I am missing unlockable items.

    The ticket was originally called "Missing Items". I don't understand why that was changed.

    I'm sorry, not being a jerk here, but I don't believe that's true. I've seen threads here that you guys were able to unlock items for people. When people weren't able to get certain shirts during the last event, they had them unlocked by Support staff. So what's the difference here?

    Several people in this thread had items restored. So why won't you store mine?

    Well then I guess this i going to have to be a formal complaint. Apologies are absolutely worthless to me, as is the $500k "compensation".

    It's an absolute joke that content is restricted by these events, and because of YOUR screw ups, we are left without things we put time and effort into acquiring. I've been playing this game since launch, and over the two years I collected these items. They either need to be made available for purchase to all players, or you guys need to get your act together and develop a way to restore this content to the players who earned it.

    Tier 1 support obviously can't deal with this, so I would like to know how to raise this to Tier 2.

    Can you give some kind of idea when these items are going to be available? Given the fact that they're limited items we've lost through no fault of our own, surely there's a way to restore them? Will the related events be run again or something?

I don't have an issue with any of this...your ticket doesn't resemble what OP posted and if you don't see the difference in paraphrasing then I can't help that you took issue with my statement.

That wasn't meant to be aggressive or anything. Just proving that R* do, in fact, give monetary restitution when there's been a legitimate issue. I had a payment because I lost a car due to a glitch, and also because I wasn't able to access my Social Club on an event weekend.

 

The point I'm making is that they give out ~500k for a huge range of different issues. Hence my referring to my ticket.

I contacted support and they didn't give me any compensation for my loss of $400k :/ i only had $11m when i sent them the message too.

Never thought that after doing all in order CMM and Loyalty i would ever be poor. With over 10 million made on 2x heists and we still have 5 days i dont think i will ever be poor again!

Question: While playing the Pacific Standard Finale with double GTA$ active, I noticed that my payout on the bottom right stays at GTA$1,000,000, even if the player holding the cash gets shot. Is this intended?

Answer: We are aware of an issue where the payout during the Pacific Standard Finale displays incorrectly when double GTA$ is active. Though the payout is displayed as GTA$1,000,000, it actually starts at GTA$2,000,000. The payout still decreases as the player holding the cash gets shot, but the payout displayed does not update during the Heist. When the Heist completes, you will still be awarded the correct amount of GTA$2,000,000 (minus the cash lost from being shot).

I'm not particularly concerned about money, but was curious what they'd do so I sent a request today asking for the $75,000 that I was shorted on Monday, lol. They very kindly gave me $100,000.
