Interesting... I want to replace that Mafia Sentinel with a different car, for a mod I am doing (and LCLF, if Tomasak wants it). How can it be done?

Try to find model name via main.scm. I will take a look at enforcer from bridge

Edit: I didn't cleary understand question. If answer doesn't make sence, please understand.

RacingFreak: About the pre-9/11 vehicles, you forgot the POLICE slogan in the Enforcer color it from black to blue too. Just like in GTA3 pre-release screenshots.

I have read the discussion about the bobcat and yakuza. I think I had a fixed yakuza somewhere so I will check my archives (because I only found WIP files of the bumper fixes, but no exported DFF's).

 

I have a question regarding the stinger and yakuza:

Shall I fix the uvmapping and normals on the wing parts as well or leave them as they are originally? Fix would look like this:

That kind of fix will be easy to do, so just let me know :)

 

I did them back in 2013, as I intended to something similar as this mod, but only on the vehicles. So, feel free to use them! Cheers~

Piano will be in next update

Stadium gate (i think it's) is already like on PS2

Light house will be in next update

8ball ball texture will be in next update

And about numbers on garages and showcase windows i don't know, i will check them out.

Thanks for answer, I found missing items in dimzet's texture patch mod yet. For help: numbers on garages — subuild5.txd, showcase windows — area5b.txd.

Restored missing lighthouse red brick texture (mottbrick_red64HV) to match xbox GTA3 and LCS (whoa PS2 has this broken too)
Restored missing piano keys texture in Sal's house (piano) to match xbox GTA3 and LCS
Added german translation with alteration to PS2 1.40 EU audio
Fixed one of the intro Colombians so he now uses his uniquely designed head
Restored missing 8ball3D texture to 8ball ball in Shoreside Vale (VC android source)
Restored missing texture (detail_128_grey) on bank in first cutscene to match xbox version
Fixed the damn black line on "Liberty City Bank" sign in first cutscene
Fixed black line betweeen roads in first cutscene
Restored missing texture on first cutscene esperanto (esperantobodyc64)
Restored missing texture on first cutscene securicar (securicabody64)
Changed texture of enforcer in first cutscene to match IG one (poldecals128)
Restored missing numbers in subuild5.txd (white4_64 and white5_64) (source: xbox version)

Someone already done this with that mod courtesy of MrClaudeFan:

And I also reverted the Under Surveillance lines in that gxt file because the modder decided to rewrite the lines to match the PC audio and since we used the PS2 version audio in this whole mod, I decided to revert it back to the original lines.

 

Transcript:

 

[bling-Bling Scramble]

"Me Yarde posse can do with them road wide driver and people are sayin' you the man"

 

"Get to the west ground opposite the stadium and the car waiting for the other hopefuls."

Oh I was wondering if there is a way to make the police heli have the same color as the police cars since the light blue color was in the beta and Rockstar forgot to change it back.

In LCS, the Helicopter was still Blue and in the Beta, the Police Cars was Blue but they switched it back to Black and kept the stripes on the doors which is what III is lacking.

something is wrong with cutscene bank fix - if I use new bank.dff and new cutbank.txd - it uses 'cutscenebank256' texture on all over surface. When I use old bank.dff with new textures - it's almost ok but some textures are misplaced. So I use original files now, take a look please

 

If the case of adding these files was to fix white square at the bank roof - it's fixable just by adding missing texture 'detail_128_gray' to default cutbank.txd, and no need to change dff

I've got to ask how you managed to edit "ped.ifp" to include the PS2 animations. I've been trying to figure out how to edit it (mostly to bring PS2 animations to the PC version) for quite some time with no luck.

 

I'd tried copying it directly from the PS2 version, but the game would always crash (presumably because the PS2 one didn't include backpedaling and sidestepping animations).

Awesome! It looks like it's a fairly new program, so that explains why I was never able to find it before. It works like a charm.
