Fixed missing textures for arrows by the police station
Fixed 2dfx on one cranes and its render distance
Added many missing textures that are on xbox version
Fixed following cars: Yakuza Stinger, Police, Bobcat, Stinger, Diablo Stallion, Taxi, Enforcer

Improved Train - added PS2 graffity, fixed lights etc.
Added flight path from PS2 v1.40 EU version (much longer now)

Fixed one of the intro Colombians so he now uses his uniquely designed head

Don't CD version compress textures after first running of game to do it for your GPU?

Edit: Just installing dics version to see

Edit2: Can't use original exe .-.

Edit3: And definite answer is: No disc version has uncompressed textures too (or maybe i have too high end PC)

So honored to be listed in contributors, but in fact I think that news reporter's stutter was either intentional touch of realism or an improvisation/accident like Trevor flipping over Franklin's fence in "Fresh Meat" that they decided to keep. But, since in VCLF you even restore weapons that were intentionally changed in PC version, I think my fix still fits here.

One last think to clear is that I converted both COMOPEN and SUBOPEN from PS2 version of the game and put the opening jingle from COMOPEN into SUBOPEN (as accurately as possible, my OCD wants me to mention) because the reporter does stutter in PS2 version too.

I don't know what was originally used for 10th anniversary text, and i used comic sans in VCLF topic too so it's a bit copy paste, if you know about better font just write it and i will gladly change it.

I notice this too since a long time ago, the same thing happens in Vice City with LODs but in various places.

There is one ide file on PS2, cranetopa and b has same sets as pc. Thankfully on gta modding wiki they say thing became lod one if render distance is set to 301 and higher

No pictures since he is similar to the final one, so no need to.

 

Changelog:

 

General:

-Feet doesn't stick out from the pants anymore

-The feet's bottom has a texture, just like playerx and playerp (player hands are NOT changed with playerx/playerp ones)

-The feet's UVW Map is fixed

-playerx now uses the player model rather than the BETA one

-The arms' UVW Map got fixed (they featured some little yellowish parts)

 

Player:

-The pants' UVW Map is edited, so when using playa2, the jeans won't look odd when walking

-The jacket's pockets now use actual pocket texture, like on XBOX/Mobile

-The left hand doesn't stick out from the left arm anymore

-Playa2 skin now features playerx's eyebrows, in order to make the skin uniquer (if you don't like that face, you can change it with the original playa2 face)

 

Player (Prison):

-The pants don't look like they have pockets anymore

-The pockets colour are now matching the pants

-The hands are now used from player

-The arms' texture is now coloured properly, in order to match the player's hands

-The shirt's UVW Map is edited; now it doesn't look odd anymore

 

I still need to fix some peds and weapons.

I was thinking that someone could fix the Bobcats front lights, they're asymmetrical and look fugly as hell:

Ahem, I said I fixed Claude, not completely improve him. My version keeps his final style while that one makes his quallity in par with every main character's quallity (the tl;dr edition: Different goals), so no, they are not similar. At all. (no rude btw)

 

And yeah, Bobcat was supossed to use textures for the trunk, and dices

Awesome, can't wait to test it out. From what I see it also has the symmetry back, and not one light being bigger than the other.

 

Another great addition to the mod would be if the buildings could actually have roofs, and solid ones too, since half of the games buildings are hollow actually. This is easily noticeable with the aircraft mod.

Is needed edit every building collision including the bridges in the game, a pain in the ass.
