Interesting discussion! I do understand and also agree with some of your statements. But I wanna testify that I'm a little worried about some of us. If we wouldn't have agreed on the terms, we wouldn't have joined the competition. Ladies and gents... please... we're already not making the situation easy for the judges and especially not for XS.

With so many changes to the game, it coming to new gen consoles, being released to PC, I this XS did a fantastic job at making sure everyone was included and that it was fun for those involved.

 

Also kudos to the judges for taking the time to review so many entries! I'm surprised we didn't reach 100 contestants. I'm sure they had their work cut out for them!!

 

I can't wait to see what the results are! I'm like waiting on pins and needles

See funny thing is, that XS created this for people's avatars, not for the player themselves.

This is purely about the in-game characters and showing some recognition of the work done to make them as attractive as the game allows. I know you understand this.

 

If you want to make a thread where you line up and judge 12 year old boys then that's your business, but I expect it would be closed and you'd probably be reported to the authorities. Let's just stick with what we've got, yeah?

I think those who are participating, myself included, even though we've been defending Miss LS, should just stop adding fuel to the fire.

 

People are going to have their opinions about Miss LS, good and bad, and that's it really.

 

I'm just going to let things be, and go back to waiting for the results.

Person A submits their pics, person B submits theirs. Person A sees pics person B submitted that looks better so they edit out theirs to match person B's photos. Person B notices the change and edits theirs as well thus creating a chain reaction of edited submissions to try and outshine another person rather than sticking to their original entry.

 

Fair point,I never changed my pics, but then again I didn't bother putting in the effort like last year (different poses/pictorial type crap) I just went with selfies. I know the outcome will not be my character, but I think she's pretty and more importantly unique looking and hell this competition needed a wee bit of color in my opinion.

 

But I applaud the folks that did put in the effort. Even helped one of the contestants with a few of their pics.

 

Just like last year, people are getting salty about perceived favoritism, however in the end you just have to care less about it. It is what it is.

 

Maybe people have a bias to a certain look or their friend's character or whatever bias people carry with them in anything, but as with everything you have to keep it in perspective.

 

This was just supposed to be a silly thread putting a different creative spin on GTA. Nothing more, nothing less.

MIss Los Santos competition is actually fun to participate as its really nice to see the variety of characters in it well not just the shooting and driving cars. Its really stupid to judge people who have female characters being 12 year olds since there are actually mature players who prefer to use female characters because there are so many games that we play as male characters already and do you actually have fun to customize male characters? I find female characters more fun to customize like cars than male characters. People would say that "Im a man and I don't wanna look at another man's ass" type of stuff.

You all did an amazing job.I spent 4 hours last night just evaluating you all.Every single person here is beautiful and is a worthy contender for who they are.It has truly been an honor being a judge,and I can not wait to see the results .So congratulations to you all,you are all winners,and if you don't hit the top 5,no biggie,you can knock it out of they park next year

EDIT : I would like to state that if your results don't pan out and your special cookie character that was obvs supposed to win...then moan about it by thinking favoritism is shown?Then kindly f*ck off.Everyone has had a fair chance is representing their character,it won't be the end of the world if you don't win.

It sometimes was exhausting and I felt like quitting,but Furry's help was great,helped me thin the fodder a lot.

 

Some were like...ugh.No work put into it,they just slap a face and say "lol" or something along those lines.If you want to submit,put some creativity in it

 

Coleco was by far the most creative for me,some much info and variety in her shots.

I couldn't agree more. From the start, I've loved Coleco's entry.

 

I know she's said before when she lines up the perfect shot, it starts to rain for her but despite that, her snapmatic game is totally on point.

 

In my opinion, I honestly believe that Coleco is Top 5 material

I couldn't agree more. I thought it would be a breeze to just browse a few photos and pick out some favourites, but there was so much and a LOT of it was really good quality. It took a lot longer than I expected it to. It was all good fun though.

Yep I did see the experience on working to find a great shot with a friend of mine to help. I see mostly selfies on the parser btw.
